I personally consider crypto currency a digital asset. Crypto currencies have values that you trade for real money (fiat) and it's digital.

It's also my definition about cryptocurrency. We can already conclude that crypto's are like that because it's digital. I guess there will be a new kind of digital asset in the future if crypto's will get out of the league which I highly doubt.
We're still at the beginning and the market hasn't reached it's peak, I mean the highest that it can. Adoption isn't on full blast so there's more to go and if there will be a new kind of digital asset, I think everyone will remain to bitcoin.
