It depends. If you dollar cost average it doesn't really matter when you buy. Obviously, people doing so are less incentivized to continue buying during a bull run, but at these *lower* levels you can't really complain.

I rather keep buying smaller chunks of a coin at current levels than waiting for lower levels without buying, because that makes no sense since we don't know where the bottom is or if we have bottomed out already.

Don't forget that when people turn into bears and expect the price to fall down to super low levels (I have seen various predictions of $1200), know that it could turn out to be a great buying opportunity.

It is always the time to buy bitcoin, especially if you intend to keep it for the next 2 yrs or so. We might be in a bear market now but do note that it does not take forever before we can recover, and 2-3 yrs is already an enough time for the market to recover. As for the ETF, if the SEC really wanted to approve that, they would have done it by now, or at least a few months ago yet they keep on delaying, which, to me, suggests that they really don't want it in the first place.

Yeah, my only basis to buy bitcoin is when everyone is panicking about the dump price and I think that’s the most profitable time to have more bitcoin. Just like what happen in the past, people are panicking and the result is so good for the hodlers since we can now buy more bitcoin. Don’t waste time like this, its cheap and bitcoin deserve to have new hodlers.

Yes this is the perfect time to buy bitcoin and hold it into the near future when the crypto market rises. Seriously if you are not buying into bitcoin in this moment then i don't when you intend to invest into bitcoin and start earning like how the early adopters did.

This is a good moment if you are an investor which has experience already with this market and know what to expect, but for those that are just starting out the circumstances are different, the price is very attractive but can they hold their coins effectively when the price is still not recovering? Though it's hard but we have to try and risk if we can afford too. Every seconds count and considering the price today,  it is good to start with. 

We don't need to wait for another drop cause everyone said it is unpredictable and does the current price today seemingly good to have profit when pumps occurs. We better strike it now.

prices are still spinning at prices of $3k - $4k. there haven't been many changes that have occurred. but some time ago prices had risen to $4k and then fell again, and now prices are far below, Yeah I think now is the right time to buy? we need good news to make demand rise

I think clearest choice would be yes considering bitcoin is as low as it has ever been (or close to it) right now bitcoin is closer to 18 month low than high, I know 20 thousand dollars looks very far away but even if the price goes to 5-6 thousand dollars that is more than 50% increase in price and that is still quite an achievement for any investment ever.

What other investments could give you a 50% profit in lets say 6 months time ? There is nothing like that in the world right now that could give you that much ROI for your investment. However bitcoin reaching to 5-6 thousand dollars this summer is still a quite achievable goal and that is why buying bitcoin right now looks like a great deal. Will it be those levels by this summer ? We don't know, is it possible ? Very.

Just wait till the price goes $3K or lower, before you can you and buy a lot of bitcoins. But the problem is that no one really know when the price is going to bottom, so you have to go back as what you really wanted to do, are you going long, which for me is the best strategy, or just short it and take profits like every other day.

Any trader will disagree with that statement and anyone that takes the time to look at a few charts will do so as well, if you look at the charts you can easily see that if you bought bitcoin at a particular point in time and then you sold it then you could have gotten huge profits, this means there is in fact a best moment to buy a particular cryptocurrency the issue is to know when that time has come and that is not easy, but right now is a good moment to buy bitcoin if you have the will to hold your coins.

Yes it is a great time to buy bitcoin. I've been buying regularly since it went under $4k two months ago, and will continue buying regularly for as long as the market continues to skate along the bottom. We are in the accumulation phase in which smart money is accumulating Bitcoin right now to make massive profits over the next few years during the next bitcoin boom. If you look back and wish you were buying in 2015 when the price was $200-$300 then you should be buying now cuz we are at that point in the market cycle again.

Let's look at btcusd market using amazing Ichimoku indicator.

After the bouncing from 3200.00 support and further upward movement, the price could not pass through the cloud and start a new uptrend. Senkou A line could stop the market and we got a price reversal with a falling to 3500.00 support. Now we have 2 zones at 4100.00 and 3500.00 which act as borders of a possible price channel .

DMI indicator shows range market conditions where ADX line is below 20 and moves sideway. It looks like the market is going to continue the sideway movement and repeat the same setup which we already could see in September-November.

In that period we also had a failed attempt to move above the cloud, the falling to a strong support at 6000.00 and the sideway movement for about 2 months. After that, the price broke the support and we could see a strong falling to 3000.00 support zone .

We have to remember that all sideway movements are finished by a breakout out of a range.

The same goes about the range which we can get these weeks. Just the most important question will be - in which direction the price will break the range?

For confirmation the further upward movement, the market will have to move above the cloud. It will confirm the strength of bulls. If DMI supports the breakout by ADX moving above 20 level and higher, we will be able to expect reaching 5000.00 and 6000.00 resistance levels very quickly. This variant looks more realistic as the market is at the possible bottom and only fundamental news playing again the crypto will be able to push the market downward. For confirmation further falling the price will have to break 3000.00 support. If so, 2000.00-1800.00 support zone , 1000.00 support level will be the targets for a bearish market.
