I don't know if it was actually carved. More like cut and put together from a couple of pieces of wood. Smiley

I think it's a cool idea but to me personally the price doesn't justify simply putting a Bitcoin logo on a cutting board.

If you want to charge this much money for Bitcoin branded items your BTC needs to improve a lot. As it stands right now half of the items on that website are laughable.

Thanks.

It would of been a lot cheaper if he just added the B to a cutting board, but the cutting board was made from scratch. The time involved just with making the cutting board itself justifies the price in my eyes.

Of course not everyone will agree with me, but thats cool.

It is not lazar engraved.

It is one piece of wood in the middle where you see the grain then on both sides are separate strips or wood. The B is cut out of Cherry wood and inlaid.

Then it has a the cherry wood strips surrounding the board and that is surrounded by the Maple wood strips.

The provided pictures should prove helpful for someone making a decision on this item.  It looks pretty cool and seems like a lot of effort went into the piece.

I'm wondering if the artist would be willing to entertain other custom crypto wood work?

I have a request

8 inch high ...
Standard Bitcoin BTC (specs can be found on this forum)
One inch thick......  Blood Wood...
Done with a router , not a band saw
Top and bottom planed...

Unfinished...

Would be no problem for a master woodworker..

Harold is asking for a link for the specs?

Also here is a photo of Harold cutting the B for another cutting board https://scontent-dfw5-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.15752-9/49686391_231018037814168_9168938656432390144_n.jpg?_nc_cat=104&_nc_ht=scontent-dfw5-1.xx&oh=a82de787e79e76ccf22090caf938e8d1&oe=5CD88F88

I dont think that scroll saw could handle 1" thick bloodwood.

How ever , the BTC in the pic looks correct...  unlike the BTC in the OP cutting board pic.

Must make sure the inside corners are 90deg. -  not Rounded....  it will be the hardest part ....
