Hello,

This might be a weird question but as you all know if you sign up with an ewallet or exchange service your account got assigned with 100 unique bitcoin addresses.

Is the website able to check which addresses are linked to a certain account?

I guess it would depend on how the service/wallet/exchange actually works behind the scenes, but I doubt they pre-generate 100 bitcoin addresses for you, like the client does by default.
