What are you missing here? You are missing here the point that not all of the people are same & I never scammed anyone.
Failed coin you say? How come then it's still alive and simply being managed by other people?
Wake up & please stop this irrational posting, because I will report you. You came here and started all this FUD just for a reason that you don't like a project. Problem is that you can criticize, say your opinion and etc, but after calling it a scam without any confirmations, I surely will report you if you will answer anything again.
Also, NOBODY is even MAKING you BUY masternode... Jesus...
I've mined a shitton of different coins, with low premine's, no pre-sales, no masternodes & etc. I believe somewhere around 80-90% of them are now gone for good. With your logic they haven't been scams, right?
Feel free to report me, I am more then fine with you just adding to your invalid report list, if you wanted to control the thread then you should have made it self moderated.
Point is if the previous coin was successful then why is someone else managing it? Who creates a coin successfully then hands it off to others to make a new coin?
So answer this why should people buy a masternode from you? You have handed over you previous coin which you're saying was not a failure, why should people not expect you to leave this coin behind as well? Why do you think your personal take should be 12.5%, how exactly is the premine being used, which exchanges, what are you going to do with unsold premine coins?
Do you even know or are you more just wanting to get the Bitcoin now from the sold Masternodes and worry about the details later because?
Do you see where I get my idea of this being yet another presale and don't care. (If you don't want to use the term scam)
Okay, I see that this Unify ghost will haunt me now forever. So the reasons were the following:
1. All of it's development costs were covered by my own personal savings only (100% of it, in a year I've had a donation of 20K Unify & ~80 USD BTC 0 that's all). My premine was 181,818 coins (1%). I have mined & bought my own coins as everybody else after the premine. I spent tons of money on exchange listings (Cryptopia, CoinExchange, CryptoBridge, NovaExchange (at that time they were pretty popular), Mercatox.com & etc). Then the developments such as POW -> POS switch, UnifyPay wallets (Android & iPhone wallets, Web Wallet) & etc. took out like extra 30-40K EUR out of my pocket. Only upkeeping the project's servers & etc. required me to have 1K EUR monthly. I went broke in 1 year, because my main source of income, which was good has ended & I just couldn't upkeep the project using only my funds and there were almost no donations.
2. At first I began it as a simple coin without expecting anything "BIG", however, people have shown huge interest in it & I kept on moving with it. Couple people offered me their help & that's how the team has formed. We have set a lot of goals, of which many had to be done by ALL OF US, not ONLY BY ME. Such plans as creating a marketplace, crowdfunding site, additional ETH token (with an ICO), whitepaper & more. There were tons of goals in the roadmap & some of them weren't easy. Now the problem was that after the crash, team has ran away and only I have remained. Now, without money, I had to do all of those things, of which many were supposed to be done by other team member. I have still tried to manage & learned a lot by myself & developed a "marketplace". However, the ICO part, ETH token, crowdfunding site - they were too big for me only to handle. If I was the only person who was setting roadmap goals at the time of it's creation - I really wouldn't have set these goals only for myself, because I would have known that it's a too hard task for me or only would have announced them if I was sure I really could complete them. Sadly, not always things go as they were planned.
3. If you were there - you would know that since the beginning of Unify, I have lost my Father (who at the time was only 56 and who's death was absolutely unexpected), my wife's Father, my 14 year dog, my 17 year cat & at least one good, but still life changing thing - I've got a newborn. This was a mental rollercoaster & I kept on trying to go through all of this and keep on developing stuff for Unify.
In conclusion, when all of these things summed up: bad financial situation, market crash, personal matters, team falling apart - I've decided that I actually need a big break and it would be even better for the project to be taken to other hands that will be able to continue with the project. And that's what I did for the sake of happy community. I was in a depression & crypto was the last thing about which I've wanted to think back then. Anyway, I am now back to my normal state & I did some decisions in that time. I decided that if I'll ever do (and I'm trying to it here) a coin again - I will take an absolutely different approach by doing a pre-sale, so I wouldn't be the only one who looses all of his money & then gets blamed if all market crashes (it doesn't matter that you can't do anything about it). Also, I have decided not to set any goals that I will feel like I may be unable to achieve by myself only.
* Now as for "how exactly is the premine being used, which exchanges, what are you going to do with unsold premine coins?" it is written right there in the "SALE INFO" tab - the money will be brought back to the development funds. Think how much listings cost - I would need to sell 120 MN's just to get a listing on CryptoBridge. Don't you think if I was trying to scam it would have been smarter for me to create some high priced MN, wait for one person to buy it and run away than to risk by getting hundreds of buyers and risking? I simply have done a big premine, because I have learned my lesson that projects often will cost more than you think they will & I don't want to be spending all of my personal money once again. And the more money I will have towards the development & marketing - the more chances there are that the coin will grow in demand and therefore in value.
