I don't see any hype about this update as the market is not moving upward due to fewer demands. I'm hoping that after the update we can see some positive improvements on the Ethereum price. Be patient as this might take enough time before we can see the progress.

You should be know that it has postponed to January 19 and there is no connection of big move because this is a system upgrade in ethereum blockchain. It was PoW only coin but now it will implement PoS too which means you can get rewards by staking.

ETH prices only experience price declines, fork does not affect price increases. I saw hardfork that occurs on ETH does not have a good effect on price movements, maybe most investors just wait when the bull run comes to buy lots of ETH.

I don't see any hype about this update as the market is not moving upward due to fewer demands. I'm hoping that after the update we can see some positive improvements on the Ethereum price. Be patient as this might take enough time before we can see the progress.

The effects will start to show when the update actually happens because it will lower the inflation rate.  Less ethereum being dumped on market equals a higher price.

The price will have to rise to compensate for the miners losing out on rewards, so expect to climb very rapidly over the next few months.

I thought, in the near future there might not be a big change from the price of ethereum. now we ourselves can see. not so much happens to the market. many altcoins are unable to move. they only experienced a slight increase and then dropped again. growth is not so good, but we still have to wait.

January 16 has passed and what is the ethereum price now? has it changed what you expected and expected?

I think it's just a normal update because I feel this event has no impact. there are too few people discussing this and it shows that the hard-fork event seems unfavorable.
I think ETH will fail in this hard-fork and they will have to pay dearly. They can lose their 2nd place forever.

As far as a I know,  Eth hard fork have postponed and there is no date announced for its continual.
Even hard fork happen but still it won't affect for the price trend,  it is an update that could give a smooth and fast transactions. There is no need to be worried for that.

First purpose of the hardfork are upgrading technology and then second are to create new trust in investors so the prices are expected to rise sharply, the second things seems failed so hardfork is postponed

Ethereum still at the low price and difficult to raise the higher price. The trend is also not good right now because the red candle still on the red. But there is hope for ethereum to increase in this weekend as I see there is a green candle show at the pair although it's only a small candle. A lot of people maybe already know if this fork is only like maintenance because if it will split for a new coin again, i think people will start buy it and hold a lot of ETH. Maybe this is why it's price not really increased like other forks.

Seriously nothing to my expectations has happened and this seems to be the most silence hardfork that has happened over a long period of time.  Many people said that this hardfork is going to push ethereum above $500 on twitter and telegram but we are having stagnant price right now and everything seems bearish than bullish.  My expectation was that from 14 to 19 of this month ethereum should have performed very well and at list be above $200 but that has not been achieved and it even fall from $150 to $120.
However, the hardfork has been postponed and the news should have pushed ethereum price upwards than were it is right now.

its gonna be the same situation for sure after the fork. Because it's seems ETH still have no stable progress and always fluctuate which perhaps this is just temporary pump in my opinion , maybe there's a good wave on it but probably soon when bitcoin stabilize along with other alts.

It's pretty scary for me, for a really really big coin or project, to discover such a huge flaw in their code only 1 and a half days before a hard fork. And only the devs realized this, not others. That's scary for me. And what's more this hard fork has to happen every now and then, so what if, what if there are new flaws discovered later on?

Ether won't die and eventually will recover and maybe even rise, but its growth will be severely affected if this always continues.

You should be know that it has postponed to January 19 and there is no connection of big move because this is a system upgrade in ethereum blockchain. It was PoW only coin but now it will implement PoS too which means you can get rewards by staking.

It's for the future and not now. The next hardfork wil try to implement a part of POS update just like put difficulty bomb delay and that's it. But the decrease of inflation in the ethereum supply will give an impact to the price of ethereum. inflation has become the main problem in the POW.

It seems that there is no significant change in the price of ETH, it can even be said to be the same when hardfork has not happened.

that's what we saw, until now Ethereum is very difficult to grow again and again raise prices, and whether investors have started to hesitate to re-buy and invest in Ethereum, many people are impatient waiting for the increase and some of them have sold Ethereum they have held for a long time, and many of them have switched to buying other coins that they think the coins will have a better development than Etherem, but I still really hope this Ethereum will grow even higher, because I still hold it, and I wait for the increase the will occur again.
