Fellow miners,

this is the build I use with my Nvidia rigs.

Openrig.net/oros makes it easy to configure, edit, and monitor rigs from your pc, tablet, or smartphone.

https://openrig.net

Why you should try openrig.net/oros:

Email/telegram alerts for all rig events.

Both openrig.net and oros are extremely secure.

Oros has effectively zero writes with all scripts, configurations, and clients pulled as needed from openrig.net and stored in ram on oros.

Oros will self heal from almost any problem.

Currently has a 0.05% fee; which may be reduced.

Requires:

     Nvidia GPUs

16 gb or larger USB key

You are a resident of the United States.

Example rig:

$770.57 Starter Rig; $1650.53 Example Rig

Mining tools:

     mining electric cost calculator

Note oros works without issue with 1660s or 1660ti's; no driver issues.

Here is a table comparing a 1660 and a 1660ti:

All rigs will download the newest scripts on boot.

If your rigs are currently running:

To update your watchdog to support new mining clients, use the: reclient button in Rig List.

It will stop the watchdog, download the newest version, then restart it and the mining process.

Current client list:

bci_progpowminer

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Please let me know what you think I should change, improve or add.

While developing this, I also made a large number of tools. I ended up not including most of these to make the interface simpler, or because I decided users were unlikely to actually use the tool.

It would be good if I got access - that would be a good start Wink ...

The email has not arrived for verification and I cannot login to see. This could be a block from my end, your end, or the ISP end. But unless I get this email, I cannot login and check anything mate. I trust your history, especially with nvOC, but this archaic email verification system gives me issues with some websites which block either my email address (no - I won't change it), or my ISP blocks the relay your email is coming from. I have checked the latter and no email has been sent thus far.

Would be nice to see what you have created here mate.

As for the tools - easy fix. Create a 'simple' and 'advanced' menu system. People can choose what they want to use. No/basic tools or all/advanced tools Wink

Email is old, but still the best option to enable password resets without extensive verification.  I have sent you a pm.

I tested with Ubuntu 18.04 last night and didn't have a problem.

I used the Extract from the right click menu.

From terminal: unzip PATH also worked.

I imaged using the Ubuntu Disks application.

I did find a problem on macOS using its built in extraction.  I would guess it is similar to the problem you are having.

To extract on macOS I had to open terminal and use:

unzip PATH

The easy way to get the PATH is to simply drag the file from the GUI to the terminal.

However the Etcher imaging application can image from the zip which is convenient, and also means that on macOS, or Windows or Linux if using Etcher you don't need to extract.

What version of Ubuntu are you using?

My daily driver OS is Ubuntu 18.04

CRC check was ok

So I managed to extract the zip on windows 10

Common issue when zipped in Windows and attempt to extract in Linux.

Will flash, test and report back A.S.A.P.
