You're right there are many ICO project just created for dump and pump and for scamming purposes.
Not good if you directly go to our announcement section here in the forum and we don't which project are real or fake.
There are some website that can give you choose if what project is better. Take a look at this one
http://coinmarketcal.com/ This site can give you an insight into which project is fake or real so that you can choose a project with real events. Most of the projects there is real so I'm sure it's one of the good tools to find good ICO project to invest in.

https://coinmarketcap.com/new/ most of the ICO project is not yet listed on coinmarketcap and "recently added of coinmarketcap" is one of a good tool where you can find a new project that already have price and volume. Almost all new projects added recently on coinmarketcap are real but you can't be an early investor.
