Aggressive betting is not always the right strategy. You may win few times due to this, but if you lose, the loss will be much more as in case of normal betting keeping in view the risk involve. Also note that aggressive betting is also due to greediness to become rich quickly which is of course will not happen most of the times.

And because of the winning pots, my friend has been demonically lured into it. We noticed that there something wrong with the shuffler, he's dynamically cheating. And of course, we lost that game. Can't even tell the cheating thing publicly for we didnt have the evidence.

Playing games at carnivals or in similar crowds held by strangers is of course prone to cheating. I often see this and even they consist of a group of people who have their respective duties.
