To all whiners for merits and higher ranks

I am more actively involved in this forum for a couple months now. I have been a member for some time but never was actively involved. But this changed some time ago. Now I scroll through the forum more often, I am having a trading challenge that has almost 5000 views in less than a month. So to be short I am happy to be around here.

But the only thing that is annoying me is the many people that constantly whining about their rank or about why they do not receive any merits.

So for all those whiners that read this post

What is a forum?

A forum is a place where a bunch of people form a community that supports each other. A forum is a place where people share ideas, share news, write informative and constructive posts, help solving problems others have. Shortly said, a forum is a place that brings value to your knowledge and that supports you to learn new things.


What isn't a forum?

-A forum is not about ranks or merits. Wether you are a legendary with 2000 merits or a newbie with just 1 post. If you post a valuable post its as much appreciated by the community, no matter you are a newbie, full member or legendary.
- A forum initially isn't ment to make money, but to be informative and constructive.



So why should it be that easy to rank up or to earn merits. Personally I think there would be much more abuse. Because 99% of the people whining about their rank or amount of merits are...

... people that do not contribute useful things to the community but just want to rank up to earn more like for example in a signature campaign.
... People that think when they rank up the are more trustful like as they are a newbie. But guess what that isn't true. Trust needs to be earned and build by contributing useful things in the community. Trust does not increase just by ranking up.
... And last but not least there are a lot of morons that just want to rank up as high as possible because they think in this way they abuse their rank like for example try to receive a non collateral loan which sometimes is offered to high ranked and trusted members.


So conclusion:
So if you are not around here to contribute something useful in this forum and only are here to rank up and make merits as fast as possible to be able to abuse the status or rank then you shouldn't be here. Your trust and reputation isn't build by your rank but by the value you add to the forum. I am only a member with a louzy 17 merits but that does not change me in the way I am. If I become full, sr or even legendary it will not change who I am and what I stand for. It's all about what you do for this community!!!

This forum has filled with spammers because of signature campaigns that is why the merit system was implemented in early 2018 which restrict the non-contributing forum member to stay at their rank but they are not restricted in expressing their any idea when compared to the higher ranks,forum rule is safe for everyone whether newbie or legendary.

Then trust is nothing to do with ranks,its obtained when some DT members leaves you feedback when they trust you because of you are helping this forum lot,or they did successive trades.

Just be yourself and the rank will follow up,don't run behind the merit just to rank up.

Actually a forum is already a community itself.

Facts:
1. Forum doesnt always look to be an informative discussion
2. Forum doesn't always prohibit shitposts
3. Forum are usually made for common issues to be discuss and improve.
4. If you're talking about Bitcointalk Forum I suggest you make use of that instead of using only the word FORUM. That word is for generalization of all communities made through the internet. And not all of these forums shares the same rules like bitcointalk.org.

you free to choose? But the choices you make will discover what you will have, make, and do for the forum tomorrow in your life.

Your question if seen very simple? but it requires empirical and pragmatic thinking to answer! at first, each individual has:
Character.
Character is arguably the choice.
There are many factors in the world that we cannot control.
For example:
Choose a forum or Meta to discuss, a place where discussing problems, assessing received talent or IQ. for that in choosing characters when people have to oppose, make decisions, support or reject decisions, etc. when people take action or decisions most people are made unconscious of the person has created the character itself.
Conclusion:
"It is indeed a factor that is not beneficial for humans in this immortal nature of life. Every human being will surely be old, sick, and diebut for that human beings must be grateful for what has been possessed either in the forum or outside the realm, if it is considered an animal it will be far more suffering and miserable".
