Agreed.

Given that DT1 and therefore DT2 is going to change by varying degrees each month, I think it makes sense for obvious scammers such as this one to be tagged multiple times. We don't want to be in a situation of relying too heavily on one person's ratings, for them then to disappear from DT for a month or two.

It's not just the number of ratings but also how quickly they get posted. I suspect some users are lurking on the ANN boards waiting for new threads to pop up and immediately check them for fake pics etc. By the time I happen to click on a new scam ICO thread it usually already has a red score.

I like it too.  It's now quite obvious how much more active the current group of DT1 members are than the previous list.  That alone adds practicality to the system.  Scammers are getting tagged quickly and frequently.  Members who are engaging in honest trade are also getting tagged appropriately.

I would still caution new users to do their own research into potential trade partners, but it does give us a good starting point.  As long as the DT members remain active, and this isn't just a "Honeymoon" stage, we're off to a good start with the new system.

I am tagging scammer especially regarding scam/fake ICO's from beginning although I wasn't on DT. And I am doing same thing still now. Especially I feel happy to tag ICO's scammers because there is involve lot of fund. And lot of forum members promoting them due to bounty. Eventually all of them are getting scam. Previously in my observation there was only 2 DT who had handled such as case suchmoon & marlboroza. I have been following their strategy about tag scam ICO's. However seems good there is many active DT, in fact we don't know who will remove from DT by next the corrections. But scammer should remain red tag. So not bad tag them by multiple DT.

Yeah,most times when there are changes to the DT lists and some DT members removed it gives scammers a leeway and their tags get off which probably isn't safe for members who didn't know they were previously tagged.
So if scammers and inappropriate users gets tagged multiple times by different DT members it'll almost make it impossible for their red tags to go off even if there is a change in the system.

We should start encouraging conscientious members to start tagging whether they are part of DT or not. If only I could turn back time and would have tagged all of the scammy shit that I've seen going down since 2015. The problem with this logic is most people want the authority without doing the work actually looking into the situation. They just want to shit out ratings assembly line style to give the image to the rest of the forum they are valuable and should get more authority. Incorrect, I can totally understand that being on the end of a false/frivolous tag could be detrimental to some members hence me starting a thread in rep that I encourage anyone tagged by me to post in,  I have been totally open about my trust-list and tags, excluding 2 members then adding them back in once a discussion had occurred and changes happened.

I believe you will find that as DT is now a democracy and not a dictatorship that those who want to help the forum will be far more flexible and communicative about tags and trust in general.

DT1s need to be infinitely just and infinitely merciful, so they can't condemn members to eternal damnation for venal sins. I seem to have so many things on the go at the moment, that I created an appeals ticket system on a spare domain - The Jet Cash appeal system. It could be worth making new members aware of the recommended methods available to remove red tags. Starting abusive threads in Meta may not be the optimum way, but it does seem to be the choice of some. Polite private messages would probably be more effective, but newbies can't avail themselves of this method if the DT has newbie PMs on ignore.

And the problem is posting anywhere else is off topic, and the people who go around shotgunning negatives usually don't give a shit who it hurts, as a result the only real option is a public plea, and ofc these same people just LOVE piling on these threads too...
