Using Simplemining OS, not updated yet as i can tell, 23.2 hotfix isn't visible, so can't use it at this moment.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

They usually update new version of nbminer several hours after our github release.  Smiley

Are you gonna mining on nicehash with simpleminingOS? Rather than NicehashLegacyMiner?

Despite the fact that the miner shows a 2% increase in speed for new version on C31, the f2pool does not confirm this!

why not optimize BTM, it is still relevant for RTX

Anybody tried dual mining BTM and ETH with a 2080 Ti? What hashrates did you get?

in any case, BTM mining is more profitable than BTM+ETH mining

But it's close, no? I tried inputting it to whattomine's estimates and the total revenue is close. That's using the 2080 hashrates. Wonder how the 2080 Ti performs. Can't try it for now away from the rig

BTM solo will be around 17 kh/s, which was a fun-party without the new ASIC's. BTM+ETH never tested.

But if you or someone else have numbers, please let us know.

@nebutech, could we please get rid of extra CR/LF (or whatever) after 1st line in the logfile?

I support, why not a team? - temperature lumit -
We use rather expensive equipment. With the same memory load, no program will be able to keep the temperature limit, it will grow very quickly, which will lead to a breakdown of the GPU in the future, please add the command - temperature lumit - which would disable the GPU above the specified limits as in TREX

BTM SOLO mining at 15k+ on a 2080ti is still a solid income even in the middle of ASICS.
The miner is still great Smiley

Dual mining depends on your memory, if you don't have a good Samsung one that you can push at +1000 / +1200 the Solo BTM will still be the best.
(Like me with my shitty Micron at +600 max only).

@nebutech I don't know if you have pushed the BTM at the maximum but the Asics seems sold out for now and the blockchain hasrate pretty stable since April.
If you can squeeze a few extra perf on the BTM, the RTX will still shine on it, even when the actual performance is pretty amazing already.

What is your settings with the 15kh/s hash? What did you get with BTM + ETH?

Also +1 for this post, optimizing BTM more would actually still be relevant.

No special settings/OC for a 2080 Ti to get 15+ Kh/s @ BTM. I have a few ones and they all achive these rates with PL 90+. With PL 110 Gigabyte and EVGA gets 17.2 Kh/s.

90 PL is a good setting, sweetest spot is like arround 70/80% PL but 90% is pretty fine for the card.
Depends of your fan, temp, airflow etc.

Dual mining is trading 6-7k on BTM for 40mh on Ethash basically, but with a bit higher power consumption (due to high memory clock).
So it depends on what you need ^^

So you get around 9k BTM hash and 40mh on ETHASH at about 90% PL? That's pretty good actually! Will try when I have access to rig.

Great so looks like this miner is the way to go.

Still the fastest miner for Grin.
When you use the same setting with gminer you will get less h/s but you will consume far less power.
When you raise your power limit to the same power consumption as gminer, you will get at least 5-10% more h/s

just tried tensority + eth on 1080ti, it's less interesting: I get 5200 h/s tensority only and 1900 h/s + 45 mH/s on eth
better for me to stick on grin31

I finally was able to test dual mining but I'm getting way different results. I get 6.5k on BTM and 52mh on Ethash at 90% PL.
If I understand your post correctly, you're getting 8-9k on BTM and 40mh on Ethash? What's your overclock settings?

I have no issues with solo BTM tho, getting 16.7k at 85% PL. Seems 85% is the sweet spot for my card.

Have just tried AE on nicehash and got 100% rejects with hotfix version. So does this miner support nicehash or not?
