I do not see in the links you provided where they successfully returned a card under warranty.
There will be in aprox a week, or you can wait till someone from this forum buys one and allows you to interrogate him deeply.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

If you are offering $250 for a 6990 you are not a pitbull, but a troll.

Give the seller a break.  If you don't want to buy at his prices or even anywhere near his prices, maybe you can look for a seller that is willing.

Catching up on this thread (it's been a while).  A perspective that is glaring:

The price Goat wants is unrealistic, and even with the entry of the 6000 series, the 5000 series were still good cards and cost real money.   I wouldn't expect good hashing cards to suddenly drop in price.  Brow-beating Wynand here isn't going to help your cause any.

Wynand has cards to sell, has set a price and sold some.  He doesn't have to provide extra information like the store he's dealing with.

In the absence of willing seller and willing buyer, don't do a deal.  If you guys ever did, I would expect another astana-style thread to pop up very quickly.

I don't mind saying which store it was to a serious buyer, I do mind passing on contact info so someone can waste their time (as he did with mine) without reason.
