Everyone is creating exchanges nowadays, not sure they're really working to solve actual problems, maybe they're just looking for profits.
It's quite the oversaturated market, I've yet to see some trait of this new exchange that will make it stand out.

I prefer to own exchange  even though the process is longer and the trading volume is not large.
the obstacle is that any coin will dump when entering the market even though the coin is registered in the own exchange .

I think this is the right step to be taken by ICON, in addition to developments for the long term. Although each exchange has its own weaknesses, such as the transaction process or price. But this step will make it easier for users. Thank you for the news.

For me this is overdue, most of this top infrastructure platforms have a DEX attached to their chain even GoChain a recent project is looking along that line. The issue with ICON team is that they think build and developers would come but that happens in a space where you have the first mover advantage like Ethereum and Bitcoin which is not the case for ICON. This not a smart move, they thinking if they can easily fix their liquidity problem but that's not the correct answer. People will prefer to use major exchange site rather than trying to use a new exchange site. This idea doesn't make sense.

Many issued their own exchange platform but it was very long to release it to full release because it was not as easy as it needed to be a struggle, if ICON was almost achieved then it would be great let's support it.

i don;t think there is any aim of long term sustainability. the rate at which exchange platforms are created in crypto currency is alarming, and its so funny i cannpt comprehend all, becuase they all provide basics that has been existent in previously stable crypto currency.

And in the bear market, how do they want to get funds for the best security an exchange deserves.

I think it is a smart move, because they have regained the trust of the investors by launching their own cryptocurrency exchange. I am pretty sure that this coin will surely survive in a long run both bad market and good.
