So I am new to the mining scene around here, and before everyone tells me not to buy this machine it is too late. I received the tracking number today so it is already en route, so please don't flame my decision to get into mining. Now that thats out of the way I was just curious as to which pool would be the most profitable to mine considering my hashrate and ASIC miner. I have done some research and am looking into Multipool as of right now. I would like to have a game plan so that when my miner gets here on the 3rd of March I will be able to waste not a second. Your opinions are greatly appreciated, THANKS!

Any of them are good.

The Guild
GHash.io
Eligius

If you mine in a smaller one you will be a bigger fish.

In the end you will earn about the same in any of them.

Been using Slush's pool for a while.  I'm not sure that being a part of a bigger pool means more pay; many miners have stated that they are all about even.

Not true...
I see more returns from BTCGuild than I did with GHash.

I suggest you rent it out and earn much more: http://leaserig.net/index.jsp?t=1

Current payment is 0.00035 BTC/GH/day. If you bring in 1.7 GH/s, it will generate you a whooping 0.6 BTC each day Smiley

This right here seems very intriguing. What is the upkeep like, and is setup difficult? And do people really want to rent a rig or do you think this is just a fad?

nobody will rent at that price because they will never break even...

based on thegenesisblock with 1.7 TH/s (or 1700 MH/s)  you should get around 7.3btc per month...(incl cost of  electricity)  /30 = 0.243 btc each day... this is only for march...in april there will be only 4.3 btc ... and so on....

also renting 8 antminers s1  you only paying 0.28 btc...(50% less then Terraminer)

This is view only from person who is looking rent a rig...
