KKR now needs a miracle to qualify for the playoffs. They have 3 matches left, and even if they win all three matches, they will still be eliminated from the league. I thought KKR would win this match, which would have increased their chances of survival, but now they are just completely out of contention. There is a little bit of a chance if the mid-table teams lose all their remaining matches, then they will be back in the fight, but it is impossible for all those teams to lose all their matches in a row. Although today's IPL match was played between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings, Chennai Super Kings got the benefit of this game.
