I was also thinking that but New Zealand Women opted to bat first and made sound 170/5. Their key wicket was Sophie Devine magnificent 87 from 57 balls which contained no less than six thunderous 6s. England Women spinner Linsey Smith had to work hard on ball to secure 3/25 in response to high quality knocks, there being a difficult climb from base both times. Kiwi bowlers were disciplined and required run rate was on increase as England Women were unable to keep pace for much of chase.
