@Soulmortal I don’t think that IPL matches are fixed even though at times I feel that some catches could have been taken, or why did the batman play that silly shot?.
However IPL is a global league now and the player’s are under constant observation, hence I really doubt that they’ll be able to fix the games.
Also if you have any strong evidence to back up your claim, then you should post it here so all can see it and make an informed decision.
I don't have any kind of evidence but I commented about the fixing due remembering the past incident in 2013 and the two team Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals were suspended from the IPL in 2015, alleged some illegal activities. We have too many matches fixes in different leagues because now its all bookies heaven and no one can stop this all as many high profile peoples also involve in this all we have many different examples but no solid proofs just few players and teams was terminated for some time these teams are in business again.

Ever since the franchise system entered cricket, there have been a lot of changes. 90% of these changes have been positive, while the remaining 10% is negative. Match fixing, which involve franchise owners is among those negatives. In most of the cases, the franchise owners just care about money. Under such conditions, we can't expect much from them. They are not there for the love for the sport.

Match fixing can be easily done in UAE as in the past UAE was the prime location for most bookies. This year the chances are very high as well.

Chances are always there. But the ICC as well as the BCCI are having a zero tolerance policy towards match fixing now. Last time CSK and RR managed to get a lenient punishment because N Srinivasan was having a big influence in the Indian cricket board at that time. The situation has changed and now the opposing camp has the power.

Considering the location there is a high chance of few matches getting fixed behind the curtains. If that happens, it will not come out in public that fast or it may never come out.

No more home tests for England and none for fans as well at least for quite some time. Now back to limited over cricket (Eng vs Aus) Benefit of Empty stands on this tour, no one from the stands going to boo Warner-Smith duo.

Useless but good for both boards, no revenue from the tickets but media rights helps everyone. English team already playing cricket so limited over cricket doesn't hurt much. On the other hand Australian team could use some intl match practice as well.

There is nothing behind the curtain theory when the IPL team owners were arrested and some of the teams were liquidated and then some international players getting banned for not fixing matches but for neglecting the rules about not informing the anti corruption team about a bookie approaching them and if you see these aspects of the situation we can assume that none of the talented top players will fix the matches as the amount of money they make is far higher than getting their reputation tarnished.

I don't think any renowned player or talented players will be involved in match fixing. Because they earn a hug amount of money from their sponsor. It is most important from them to have respect than money. we already know about Shakib Al Hasan’s ban. He was banned for not inform about match fixer to the anti-corruption unit. Now the ICC is in a tough position for match fixer. No one involved in fixing will be exempted.

I am sure the sheer ignominy of having a promising career end like that of Sreesanth, earning the disgust of a billion fans and ending up as a Bigg Boss entry would be enough warning for any player to engage in such shenanigans. Any player would think ten times before falling for this. The IPL players are loved and receive enough fan adulation during the whole carnival. They have a reputation to uphold. Its 2020 and they have enough money coming in through match fees, endorsements and prizes. Cricket in itself is pretty exciting if the players and teams just focus on giving their best. Why would someone muddy the waters with those lousy catch drops and shots?

Why would someone muddy the waters with those lousy catch drops and shots? For IPL players I doubt money is an issue but their are other ways to trap players, which I am sure most of us know. In the past IPL had a lot of controversies and those were dealt with harsh punishment as these players were caught. What happens when you do not get caught and local authorities help you too?

Pakistan team looks strong on the paper but practically they don,t perform as they should have. Betting on Pakistan will be risky but you can take risk because of better odds.

Checking at the odds right now, its pretty even at this time and you can bet at any team. No team is favorite for this match and England will have the home ground pressure as well.

You have good point today no team is favourt as both going with some quality players twenty/20 is unpredictable game any one can do very good on his day Pakistan record in England is also not bad at all so any one can win today's match hopefully this could be entertaining for all of us.

I am also going with England and surely, they would be having that inside that last test match was their but due to full match did not happen it resulted in draw. They would come back strongly in this series and hopefully there is not much rain or does not affect T20 gets reduced to less overs. Expecting the matches to be decided in the last over.
England is looking strong but Pakistan have also chances in case they're always unpredictable team. As for weather report not looking good at the moment but lets hope for good cricket. We want to watch strong battle at the end of the ball, not to see weather win series!

Your headline seems bit off and kinda click bait IMO Last i read it was not about many players but one regular player "Deepak Chahar" and majority of positive cases include support staff and family of one CSK board member/management and this article stating more or less similar facts.
