That is the valid point - they earn so much from the matched but they would not install a retractable roof. Most of the time I too think why they cant do it. Although it is an outdoor game but there are so many alternatives with the passage of time.

Biggest Upset in T20WC - 2022

First of all I would like to humbly say one word for Pakistan team OVER CONFIDENCE . Getting defeated by Zimbabwe is the most humiliating event happened to them after getting their win  snatched  by India.

This is hilarious in my opinion as the important player of the Zimbabwe side named Sikander Raza was not at all productive today. I was accepting Pakistan to win this match but as always they are dependent on the opening pair.

Getting into semifinals is no more easy for Pakistan after what happened today. This defeat should make the Pakistani side understand that all mighty will never help you unless you work on the basic.

What an amazing moment is for the Zimbabwe team. They were an underdog but after this win they have become a contender to win this tournament.

I would not say that the Pakistan team was overconfident, I think they were depressed because they were denied the victory the other day against India when the umpires awarded the match to India, and this hurt the motions of the players.
Now in order to qualify for the semi finals, they needed to win all their matches and this created an extra pressure on us in the match against Zimbabwe. Also sometimes Pakistan players does not play well against small teams and make small target difficult for them. It was a bad day for Pakistan cricket but then it is still better to lose than to win by cheating like the Indian team.

Sad news just received from the Melbourne cricket ground that this match is also abandon because of the rain. So we did not had a single bowl bowled today and both matches today were effected by the rain. This is very bad for this world cup as now you need to be lucky in order to have a match and get the important two points. No team can be sure to qualify because it can rain on any day and spoil the journey to the Semi finals.

And looking at the weather prediction for the next few days, it is possible that even more matches will be abandoned.

You are correct. Everyone is seeing enough errors in the official management of this World Cup. Some teams are not given the main dressing room of the stadium. The quality of the food provided to the team is not good at all and  not having any extra game days is really disappointing. The cricket boards need to give a written complaint against it.

Now the Australia's road to semi-finals has become tougher. In a tournament like the World Cup, if the match results are decided without a ball being played due to rain, then the excitement of the tournament is reduced and the morale of the teams is also broken.

It looks like the match schedule have been adjusted based on the IPL schedule. If not the matches should've taken place earlier. This time World Cup will be won by the luckiest team. ICC know well about the weather condition of Australia during this period. Even after that, organising the biggest tournament during this time period will make more teams loss though they're in an able position to win it's opponents.
