In the end SRH won by 55 runs but it didn't benefit them because they have to stay at number 3 and they have to play the eliminator match. As far as I know if SRH can win by 88 runs they would have got a chance to play in Qualifier 1 match.

Anyway I said earlier that RCB and GT will play in Qualifier 1 match. Since SRH is at number 3 in the points table so let's see which team can qualify as number 4 team.
Today there will be a match between Lucknow and Punjab. If Punjab can win then they will survive in the tournament if they lose then they will be eliminated. Currently PBKS is performing very badly but this match is very important for them so they have to try to perform well in this match. Let's see which team can win this match.

Never underestimate the unpredictability of the IPL. Historically, no team in 4th position of the playoffs won the trophy, but records are meant to be broken. Punjab or RR could still win the trophy this season.

It does not matter now with regard to the NRR as the first three spots are fixed, but RCB was trying to avoid slipping the NRR below GT and they played accordingly. It was a great match by SRH and they tried their best to secure the second spot.

Rashid Khan is the second most successful wicket taker for the Titans with 19 wickets, at an average of 21.94. Prasidh Krishna has played only 9 matches, but he has 14 wickets to his name and a better average when compared to Siraj (21.78).

I will agree with you on this because I myself think that the main reason for the loss of this match for a strong team like Royal Challengers Bangalore is the failure of their openers.
Because when there is a target of more than 250 runs in the T20 format, there is no chance of making any mistakes from the beginning to the end, you have to score enough in the power plays from the very beginning.

That is where Royal Challengers Bangalore basically made mistakes in this match and lost. I think if Virat Kohli had batted more responsibly at this point, Royal Challengers Bangalore would have had a chance of winning.

True. I didn't articulate myself properly, I meant he's been one of top wicket takers for GT, and when you count dot balls he has bowled he's done enough for GT. Nothing overrated about him in this IPL season.

As for Prasidh, never liked him, all I see him is bowling bouncers which somehow fetches him wickets. Would rate Siraj better any day of the week.


Meanwhile today's game, Mitch Marsh went home, the way his century was thwarted in last game, I can see why. I wouldn't be surprised if he even leaves the franchise. Glad to see Marcus and Vyashak making comeback into PBKS squad.

Looks like Arshdeep's performance has been affected by making too many reels, but his wides deffo saved my bet though. Brad Haddin putting worth on Pant's wicket, as if he's done shitall in this season or the previous (I can see the pretense but just sayin). LSG team scored 196 runs today, although I think that if you don't score 220+ runs in IPL, you don't have much of a game. However, LSG team performed quite well in today's match against PBKS, because LSG has already been eliminated from the IPL. PBKS team is doing a great batting performance in today's match to win by a big margin. Although PBKS team will have to win this match by a big margin to qualify, their NRR will increase further. Today's match depends on this, if they think big then they win then RR team will have a lot of pressure.
