I always feel like "Trust backstabbers" are the most sincere form of Trust list usage. As an example, these are all "Trust backstabbers" on theymos' Trust list:
~snip~
When evaluating someone's judgement, you should also look at their stance on Flags.
For example:
OgNasty's Personal Trust Flag viewer (to my surprise he's not supporting any Flags)
LFC_Bitcoin's Personal Trust Flag viewer (a very long list Tongue )
Yeah when it comes to Backstabbers you can be assured that at least 1 if not both parties truly understand the meaning behind the terms. Using "Trust" for the name of the list seems to cause problems from people feeling attacked. It makes it personal when it really isn't. I'll have to remember to use Flags as a metric, especially when trying to give advice in the future.

I probably trust some people who have ~ him so that’s why he’s done it. My response was absolutely retaliatory, I’ve been on this forum since 2014 & never once scammed anybody or even for one second thought about it. If he doesn’t trust me then I can’t find myself able to trust him.
Not a problem I get it. Moving forward just try looking at it less as him not trusting you, that's just a poor choice of phrasing IMO, as stated above. Having been here so long, breaking the habit of seeing trust lists in that light will not likely come easy. I try to focus more on myself than how others are using the list, so I can't really speak to how OG does things or how often he changes his list or what his reasons are. You might have it correct, people's trust lists do fall under scrutiny especially if they near a DT1 inclusion so some will begin to exclude you if they disagree with your list.
For me there are people I would trust with my money who I don't have on my list, because I don't value their feedback. There are also people I excluded that I would send money to first on a trade. Might seem backwards and counter intuitive but for me it makes sense.

@Steamtyme: would it help if I change the description for all 4 categories? And if so, what should it be?

LoyceV on the road (or in bed, couch, ....). Don't deal with this account (exception).
<<Tip me with Lightning Network>> <<Exchange LN (20 coins). 1% fee. No TX-fee. No KYC <€100/day>>
<<"When AI roams free, that's LoyceV...on mobile" (by Steamtyme)>> <<My useful topics: 1>> <<Advertise here? No, it's free! Just come up with something good>>
I'm DT2 now!

It might help. I'm also in no way trying to cast blame on the data representation you provide, as far as I know you are using the correct terms.

I'll take some time to think on it but my initial thoughts are referring to this as a "Persona Feedback Network" "inclusions" and "exclusions" would be fine with almost no negative connotation. What's the 4th category? I'm on mobile at the moment.

I probably trust some people who have ~ him so that’s why he’s done it.
By now it's virtually impossible to make a Trust list without conflicting Trust relations with other people. Say: A Trusts me but Distrusts B, I Trust B and C, and C distrusts B. You can't make everyone happy with your Trust list.

I'll take some time to think on it but my initial thoughts are referring to this as a "Persona Feedback Network" "inclusions" and "exclusions" would be fine with almost no negative connotation. What's the 4th category? I'm on mobile at the moment.
How about this:

I really like that. To me that's exactly what this portion of the overall trust system represents.  I don't know how much it will stop the slighted feeling users get, but at least it is more clear and easier to explain to people now.

I'll add it next week. Considering how often people refer to my Trust list viewer, it might actually help them to better understand Trust lists.

Update:
It's currently uploading. However: I forgot to (manually) update the DT1-list, so yesterday's DT1-update isn't included yet. On top of that, Trust-scores are based on the previous DT1-list.
I'm updating both, but scraping all Trust scores takes a while. I expect to upload an update tonight (Amsterdam time).

Update: The above is all fixed!

The top navigation bar will take another day to update.

You can try the blue or royalblue color for NEW
Blue is not as visible as I would have hoped. I'm still open for better suggestions.

Try darkviolet, deeppink or magenta colors as an option.

Update (still uploading, give it 15 minutes):
The top-navigation-bar will be updated tomorrow.

On a related subject: I've published LoyceV's Beginners guide to correct use of the Trust system. I hope this guide can help more members to understand the difference between Trust feedback and Trust lists.

Update:
It's still uploading (give it 15 minutes), but expect at least a full day to update the top-navigation bar. I should really find the time to fix that, it now uses a very large recursive loop that makes updating much slower every week.

The upload will taken another ~10 minutes to finish. Updating the top navigation bar gets slower and slower, I expect it done by the end of the weekend.

Is your server down? haven't been able to connect for ~12 hours.
More or less: It was out of disk space yesterday, so I opened a ticket. To be clear: I've only used 20% of my hosting package, but the server itself ran out of disk space.
What's more worrying is that not only did my host not respond to the ticket I opened, their own website Kayhosting.com has been unreachable since yesterday too.

Judging by http://loyce.club/archive/posts/5299/, my (persistant) upload script managed to upload some files last night.

I have over 2.2 million files and 20 GB of data now and my current hosting has been working very well for the past months, but this is bad Sad
Moving to a VPS would still be my long-term preferred option.

I've been following a hosting saga in a different venue and the story sounds similar. Everything's fine until it just isn't and whoops somebody over-promised and under-delivered but hey we took your money already so jog on.

I wish you every success in getting back online, maybe it won't involve too much more drama. I've often thought about trying out serveria.com's advertised offering, because he's here, but haven't even talked to him about it.

I would also like you to know that I have 21GB of data.

Hey @LoyceV, is there any way for me to get the bb code for these members which I can embed in this list, which auto-updates the trust score without having me to change it everytime the trust score changes? If its gonna be too time consuming for you, don't bother. None of us wouldn't want the AI to crack open, would we now?  Roll Eyes

Do you only need the Trust scores, or a complete BBCode including everything else in your table? If it's the latter, that means I have to adjust things every time you want to change something else in the table.

If it's just Trust scores, I can get you something similar to what I make for tranthidung.

Update:
(give it 15 minutes to upload and up to 2 days to fix the top navigation bar)

Only after posting, I noticed my last post was less than 24h ago, so technically, I'm not allowed to bump this thread yet. But I also know some users are eagerly waiting for their Saturday Morning Newspaper, so I took the liberty to bend the rules a bit.
