The Grin community has so far enjoyed the Grin project but most times when the mover of a particular project takes a bow on the project he invented, it is almost not possible to uphold the project and most times, even though people try to uphold the project working with blue print on paper, it always doesn't turn out as it was initially intended to as the inventor has a bigger picture that may not entirely be drawn out on th eblue print. That is basically the point behind the current prize of the Grin coin.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

New bottom. Both Bitcoin and USD price are way under October 2019 price.  Covid and possible recession are painting fresh crypto charts.

~$0.75

50 cents incoming? With this huge sell pressure on everything and Grin's inflation rate, I'd say it is not that far away.

@Cryptotourist. I reckon that this is not the correct time for entries, however, exits is another matter. What everyone appears to be doing on every cryptocoin is sell today to buy on a lower price some weeks or months later.

I reckon the opposite, that's why we love each other (no pun intended).

That was yesterday.
I'm no good with walls of text, so I'll recap: BTC halving
That said, we don't know when it will be priced in - by the end of the year?

At any other moment in time, I would have agreed with you.

All-in now?  Grin

I reckon wait to go lower considering the present mood of this market hehehe.

@Globb0. Yes I still believe in this. I reckon Grin is doing the fixes that bitcoin needs, however cannot do and it appears that some of the original bitcoin miners agree.

I guess goal need to readjust to 10 cents. Original Bitcoin miners are getting recked as we speak. They will not be doing any pumping anytime soon.

I wouldn't bet on that.
Maybe it's easier for them to take back some losses this way.

@Cryptotourist. All respect should go to theymos. I was only following his $0.50 prediction for Grin hehehe. However, it was already clear for me that it will occur because of the monetary policy. We cannot expect miners to hold a cryptocoin that has unlimited supply. It plainly will not have value in Grin's present condition.

Yeah, but I didn't tango with theymos. #nohomo

Yes price of Bitcoin was right now definitely expected to be closer to $10k then to $5k. Much easier is to predict Bitcoin price. 10000 satoshi was a price I used to have in mind, that correlated with $1.  So far price got to 7400 sat. With upcoming economic uncertainty and with 86% mining emission ( yes the 86% and not unlimited as so many like to call it), I dont believe that is anywhere close to minimum price.

@Cryptotourist. theymos has been in the cryptospace from the beginning. He has the wisdom and the experience. We should always listen to what he has to say despite that we might not agree with some of them.
