There was a time where Ethereum overtook bitcoin's #1 spot for a brief moment but that was short lived.  Some people think the BTC/ ETH flippening will eventually happen.  I'm not sure but maybe it is possible since companies may start issuing stocks on the Ethereum network.

• The fourth reason, Bitcoin can help a country when the country gets trade sanctions. For some of these reasons, I am sure that in the future bitcoin will continue to grow amid the community.

Well obviously it's still the most popular with many people still thinking crypto is btc. It's likely going to stay that way for a long time. But the more people become aware of the difference between bitcoin and crypto, the more they'll be able to open up to other currencies. Perhaps then popularity would be a little more balanced.

i heard it wasn't actually bitcoin that is the first "namecoin" was said to be the first at least that what i know of.
not sure why its not the coin that made it to be the first accepted by the people. but yes BTC stil is the most popular of all. people who doesn't know anything in still are aware of the existence of BTC due to the negative news on TV and scams.

Thats correct and I agreed with what the OP said because bitcoin is the most used, accepted and supported crypto currency around the world. However, bitcoin is also the reason why you, I and all cryptoneirs enter into the crypto market in the first place.

Lets just hope the ETF and every other alternatives which will make bitcoin go mainstream approve by the SEC and every organization involve.

Yes, Bitcoin is the strongest and most popular brand name of crypto. Among all other cryptocurrencies, this is the most famous and favorite among people because it gives a lot of profit. Do yo measure the market's "richness" by any scale? I dont think so and thus comment is pure emotion and not factual. The capitalization of the market is another thing. Bitcoin does have the biggest market capitalization by far and no altcoin would be able to exceed that because bitcoin is the main source of buying altcoins.

Well hodl will save you from the short term movements and if you dont get moved by them then you coins would be pretty safe from being sold at manipulation. But also comes into view the fact that how long you can hodl the asset.

If the dominance was not in Bitcoin, the whole market would not fall. This whole system was built through Bitcoin and will probably continue like that. In such a situation, when someone does not know what a cryptocurrency is, telling the name of Bitcoin is sufficent. Personally I can not imagine cryptocurrency without BTC.

It affects in a certain way but once it rises again then the people starts to buy and use again. This is why the holders deserve so much credit in fact. They are the foundations of the market.
