 - Getting Involved-  - What is DOS - A layer-2 Decentralized Oracle Service network built for multiple mainstream blockchains - Ethereum, EOS, Tron, Thunder, etc. - The Oracle Problem- Smart contracts are completed isolated from the off-chain world, specifically the internet - there’s no way for them to access external data directly by themselves in real time. Computation within the smart contract is also excessively expensive and limited by resource capacity. - Our Solution- A layer-2 oracle network driven by Verifiable Random Function and Threshold Cryptography, bringing real word data, events and computation power to multiple heterogeneous blockchains in a secure, reliable, efficient and scalable way. - Team Members - Coming from Google, Amazon, Pure Storage, Carnegie Mellon University etc. with extensive background and experience in cryptography, distributed systems, and software engineering. - Current Progress and Roadmap - - DOS Token Spec- 1,000,000,000 (1 billion) ERC20 token initially, atomic swap to other supported chains in future:* 35% is reserved for node operators as “mining” incentives to bootstrap the network.
* 20% is reserved for ecosystem building, including airdrop, lock drop, network bootstrap incentives for smart contract / Dapp developers, incentives for premium data providers, exchange listing fees and voting bonus, bounty programs, etc.
* 15% token sale to strategy supporters and contributors.
* 15% is reserved for team incentive, locked up in first 12 months and will release linearly in next 24 months.
* 5% is reserved for advisors and partners.
* 10% is foundation reserve including marketing, legal, PR, business development cost, emergency fund, etc. - Bounty Program, translations, content creation, social media promotion, etc. - To be announced. |

BTC Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System BTC
A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. Digital signatures provide part of the solution, but the main benefits are lost if a trusted third party is still required to prevent double-spending. We propose a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network. The network timestamps transactions by hashing them into an ongoing chain of hash-based proof-of-work, forming a record that cannot be changed without redoing the proof-of-work. The longest chain not only serves as proof of the sequence of events witnessed, but proof that it came from the largest pool of CPU power. As long as a majority of CPU power is controlled by nodes that are not cooperating to attack the network, they'll generate the longest chain and outpace attackers. The network itself requires minimal structure. Messages are broadcast on a best effort basis, and nodes can leave and rejoin the network at will, accepting the longest proof-of-work chain as proof of what happened while they were gone. |

So your tokens are only sold to strategy supporters and contributors only? Not sold to the public? How can you build your community later? I also don't see your plans in the roadmap to listed DOS tokens on exchange.

As i understood DOS Network brings real-world data, event and computation power to smart contract. But why we need this or what new your project can give to people?

They are already added in 4 exchanges without saying something in the thread but a plan for bounty campaign that they never did. The price is $0.019. Is this something that will compete with ChainLink?
Looks like the team is working great in the background. If chainlink had already gain such massive acceptance in crypto, DOS will probably also do their part to achieve success.
