OP still cannot accept the fact that he will not get what he is expecting, the moment he choose to do a self exclusion, he should be aware that their rules corresponding to that action. Also, based on most replies here, most of it are in favor of the site, so he is not gonna win his case here.

I found something extremely interesting that changes this whole situation guys.

I went back to my self exclusion emails and I found out that I had requested to be self excluded for 150 days (not permanent). Because I these bets going on and I did not forget about them I realise now. They placed a lock on my account untill I told them how long I wanted to be self excluded, because they did not have a option for 150 days. Only one week, one month and 6 months. I never answered how much I wanted to be self excluded figuring that they say that my account will remain blocked untill I give a answer so that would be the same as me wanting to stay banned for as much as I need. However now I email them in january and they say that my account remains closed because I had stated that I had gambling problems and now they also void my bet because of this. Keep in mind that, the day and the days after they were talking about blocking my acount for 1 day till 6 months at a max, never about a permanent self exclusion. I did not want this because I had ongoing bets. This changes everything and I have pictures, I never said after my first email on 6-12-2018 that I wanted to be permantely self excluded. This means they are breaking their t&c right? I did NOT request to be permantely banned I emailed specificly 150 days because I had ongoing bets. SCAMMERS!!

I emailed to ask my account to be self excluded for 150 days (because I had ongoing bets that I actually did remember).
I said I had gambling issues and that I wished to take a cool off period for the time being hoping that my situation would get better.
Within a hour sportsbet replies with that they have placed a 24 hour cool off period on my account and that someone would be in touch for the self exclusion options.Thank you for contacting us.

I messaged them clearly to be self excluded for 150 days so that I can collect my bet after if it wins and now they just void it and choose to permanent self exclude me when it the beginning they didnt they gave me options to be self excluded for the selected days!

Turns out I did not request to be self excluded permantely. I emailed them to be excluded for 150 days back in december, so that I could collect my winnings later if they did manage to win. Read my before post, I understand that people were in the favor for the website but now this completely changes because of the simple fact that I placed a temporary ban on my account not a permanent one because I had bets going on. Tell me what is wrong with me doing this? Why should my bet get voided for that?

Please be advised we have been in regular contact with areezy regarding this self-exclusion procedure over a period of time. It became apparent that WE had to place areezy on a Permanent self-exclusion due to the claims of serious gambling issues ( Which, he is openly admitting here )

When the decision is reached and action is taken by us, any open bets are voided and money returned to the customer. ( areezy, we are still waiting for your reply to our last communication regarding Wallet so we can return the voided bets )

I was here when the Sportbet team voided the bets and it didn't matter if it was top placed team, or bottom-placed team. It was just important to cancel these and close this account down in the best interest of our customer.

I won't be going into any more detail about this case, as im sure you all understand there is a fair bit of information not mentioned here that doesn't need to be brought out to the public domain.

'areezy' please give the odds talk, the calculations and sports betting in general a rest for a while, a break is as good as a holiday hey?

Many books have rules in place that are never invoked. Confiscating funds because of self exclusion should not be invoked. The player should be banned and all winnings paid along with futures that may accrue after self exclusion.

By the letter of the law, Sportsbet is allowed to confiscate the player's funds. If Sportsbet does confiscate money, it is showing to be a lower tiered book. This type of situation is why sportsbet does not have a high rating.

Before everyone in this thread said that the casino was right because I self excluded my self permantely, but now its different and now I dont hear anyone. I self excluded my account for 150 days because of the bets that I had ongoing and they decided to change that to a permanent ban. They are thiefs and would do anything to get out of any situation. I have attached pictures of my self exclusion back in december and they agreed with me being temporary self excluded and they told me that I can be blocked for 1 day untill 6 months and now in january when I ask them about my bets, they just decide to block my account permanent.

How can anyone be in the casino's favor and agree with them now tell me how when I requested to be self excluded for 150 days not permanent!

I requested to be temporary self excluded for 150 days, my bet should never be voided because of that. Imagine you play at a casino and you make a nice profit and then you self exclude your self for 2 days so that the withdrawal goes thru (so that you dont cancel the withdrawal) is the casino then allowed to void all bets because you temporary self excluded your self? ofcourse not, that is insane.. I have never heard of something like that in my life, these pictures clearly show edvidence that I requested to be temporay self excluded, so that I could collect my bets later. I have no idea whats wrong with me doing that. (notice they replied with they being okay with temporary self exclusion on my account in the email) because I did nothing wrong!

He just cannot accept that he loss because of the self exclusion thing, if you believe he can still claim it, will you be willing

My honest opinion is that OP did not understand the terms properly, well, I could be wrong but its just an opinion.

I was not wrong at all regarding the terms. I requested to be self excluded and they agreed with that 150 days. A month later I ask about my ongoing bets and they suddently permantely ban my account, because I had stated in the first email that I had gambling issues (they were not having a problem with it when I self excluded my self and now when I ask about ongoing bets they suddently do) thats my whole point. I am just sharing this so that people know everyday to avoid this casino. Save as much people as possible from having negative experiences with this casino.
