I'm a bit surprised by Juve's qualification.
I thought Simeone and his players would hold on to the score.
But congrats to Ronaldo, a real match winner (he should play at PSG lol) , and his teammates.

I was expecting a defensive match with not many goals and finally a qualification for Atletico.
I didn't expect that Ronaldo can carry the team into the next round and once again he showed that he is fairly one of the two best players in the world. I wonder how Real Madrid's fans feel right now.

Are they happy because their city Rival Atletico is disqualified or are they sad to see Ronaldo playing solid in a different team rather than Real Madrid?

So we have now 3 english teams in the QuarterFinal, including my beloved Spurs. I know now City are for sure the favorites in this edition,,, especially after Real Madrid got knocked out. I think Ajax have a good chance to be in the final, my dream is for Spurs Ajax, but I know probably City will be the ones to go all the way.

If they meet Liverpool again, it would be a sad day because we all want to see a different match up!

An outstanding comeback from Juventus as they beat ATM by 3-0 & reached on quarter final.Ronaldo gave a perfect reply to all the criticism he had on past few games.And also a big bow to the Juve coach allgiri who was tactically superb. More surprises? Liverpool win against Bayern by penalty shootout, 1-1 full time, 2-2 extra time ended with penalty lol. For Barcelona vs Lyon, Barcelona only need 1 goal to qualify, so Barcelona will win i guess, maybe a blowout like man city yesterday.

Exactly, there will be no easy fixture. I expect Barca to win tonight by 2 goals, maybe more and meanwhile for Liverpool vs Bayern Munich it is going to be a 50 50 affair. Bayern are getting better in terms of form than they were at the beginning of the season, Liverpool's has dropped from what they used to be early in the season, I still however believe that Liverpool will advance to the next at the expense of Bayern Munich

The results of the first leg for both games indicate that today's matches will be very crucial for all teams because no goal has yet been created. Bayern and Barca certainly benefited from their status as the home team. But, a little negligence can disperse their dreams, especially if the visitors create a goal first. It must be interesting games to watch!

I actually played those same tips today. I feel like they should pass easily but I had the same feeling during first round of matches and both ended 0:0. This time I am expecting a bit more open games so hopefully the bets will pass. Keeping my fingers crossed for an early goal.

What did you predict for the first leg ? 0-3, 0-4 ? How did that workout for you ?
We've seen Ajax win 4-1 at Real, PSG lose 3-1 at home to MU, Juve coming back from 0-2 so why not ?
Lyon has some very talented players. They clearly dominated City in both games they played (yes both, not just one), they beat PSG recently... they're a good team but I guess you wouldn't know.
Now they might lose 7-0 tonight, no one knows, not you, not me.

The last time I wagered on bayern munich to win their game they couldnt even score a goal in the bundesliga game so I will go against the trend and the sportsbooks for this one. For the top team in their league they were a disappointment and I wont put anything on them to win anymore games even in the championship game against a hot liverpool team. I think they scored 5 to nil in their last game.
Also I will say barcelona will be a clear win for them against the french team today.
