BitGrin is a implementation of MimbleWimble with time tested Bitcoin economics. This means there will only ever be 21,000,000 total coins, reducing block reward every 4 years. Now listed on BitMesh and Vinex ExchangeEconomicsThere will be only 21,000,000 BitGrin forever, period. Visual representation here. https://bitgrin.dev/comparision-of-emission/Keeping Development Healthy
BitGrin has a modest dev fee distributed monthly at a rate of 10% of the circulating supply. By the end of 4 years the dev team will have acquired 4.76% of the total supply through this feature. After this, no further dev fee applies. We feel this is a fair way to help compensate ongoing development, without resorting to a donations-based system. It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Currently the target is to launch in 7 days, on February 7th, 2019.Technical Parameters Block time 60sec Reward 5 BitGrin, reducing every 2 100 000 blocks (approximately 4 years) PoW consensus with Cuckoo Cycle BitGrin uses a very lightweight implementation of MimbleWimble, allowing every user to have complete privacy and anonymity. So it's exactly the same inflation rate for the first 4 years. In that case why didn't you fork grin in 4 years? Oh wait you couldn't premine then

The monetary policy is exactly the same as Bitcoin's, which halves every 4 years. There is no premine on this coin, the mainnet/genesis block will not be produced until everyone can participate in the initial mining with pools.

I would assume the extremely low supply is for the sake of creating demands and scarcity? On my previous experience with very low supply token, they will still find it difficult to appeal community without real purpose and good liquidity. Or is there an use of the token other than for trading purpose?

Or do I understand your tweets wrongly? There were only two tweets, actually. Maybe you better give proper explanation here, that'll help both of us saving some time. Fundamentally, we believe in Grin's mission of providing a scalable, private form of digital cash. Other options have trade-offs that do prevent scalability or privacy (it's almost always a trade-off between these two.) Grin and the Mimble Whimble consensus solves these issues using a clever new approach to deploying transaction data to the chain that greatly reduces computational requirements as well as memory requirements for full nodes. What this ultimately means is that the Grin technology is vastly superior as a form of digital cash to other coins. However, because of the monetary policy in place with Grin, the constant inflation leads to persistent downward price pressure, causing the coin to not be desirable to those who would *accept* digital cash payments. BitGrin solves this problem by using the tried and true Bitcoin monetary policy, with mining rewards regularly being cut in half, in order to encourage it's use as a scalable, private, digital currency.

Watching - was mining grin before but inflationrate is a pretty big turn off.
Emission curve here is quite interesting, anything else on the roadmap?
Website doesnt give much infos yet.
Hope you guys will provide a pool when the mainnet launches.
Pools will be provided to ensure a fair launch, there is a lot of people with a lot of hashing power waiting for the countdown to end. The BitGrin miner will also be completed by that time, which will allow everyone even nontechnical people to mine at launch. The most important part on the roadmap is to improved ease of use of the BitGrin protocol, for casual users as well as exchanges, donation buttons, faucets. But the most important for now is a fair launch. Join the telegram we welcome all help with open arms.

So, we can rephrase into other words as, you tried to patch a "weakness" by adding a feature that's yet to be proven its effectiveness? Bitcoin stays with its strength and impenetrable barrier because it's rather a pioneer and its brand name is very strong, a copy of solution for other token might not works the same

This is a scam, founders tax just like that other bullshit scam grimble. Stay away everyone, they are just trying to profit off the hard work of Grin. CON ARTISTS
Grimble had a premine that the founders tried to dump the next day. We have a dev fee that is paid monthly from a trustless height-locked Output set. This is a VERY important distinction. The dev treasury will be 0 for the first month of mainnet launch.

To ensure a fair launch BitGrin will be released with a “one-click” miner that is functional with supported pools, so even non-technical users can immediately mine it and contribute in the economy.
Waiting for this “one-click” miner. When release will be? Tomorrow launch date.

So this is nothing more than a Grin clone with the Bitcoin supply curve built into it? Couldn't you guys come up with your own supply curve? Now the emission is EXACTLY the same as Grin for the first 4 YEARS. The only difference is, you guys are putting 4% or 800k+ coins in your own pockets. That's just an outright SCAM
Don't waste your hash power on this one boys, no doubt there will be a more promising Grin forks in the next 4 years LOL.

Sound Economics and User Friendliness the reason to fork? I would understand this with an impressive UI Website, or any Design concept of a Wallet and planned things. This just currently no-sense. Grin just launched and they will improve over time for sure.

Here come the Grimble team. May I remind you - https://twitter.com/cryptochrisw/status/1091487015500218368 Their time-locked dev fee will hopefully allow them to overtake Grin and attract their developers. Also, emission comparison: https://bitgrin.io/comparision-of-emission/

So BitGrin is to Grin like Litecoin is to Bitcoin?? A start of anew. Yes, but I think in a very messy and unplanned way. It is not a fork, because they will not use the initials blockchain of grin, so it will be a new currency that uses the grin code at the beginning, like LTC and most of the cryptocurrencies that use the BTC code in some form. Bitgin have a very poor and unprofessional website, not much information about mining, social networks, wallet. They will throw something they have done just to show that grin is wrong with the infinite generation of coins. I also think that grin is wrong with the infinite amount of coins, but bitgrin should have created a good project instead of a copy paste and change in the number of coins that could be generated.

Pools will be provided to ensure a fair launch, there is a lot of people with a lot of hashing power waiting for the countdown to end.
So is that fair launch with only one pool available? Any wallet? Is native grin-miner suitable for BitGrin mining? p.s. it looks like shit. I have 40+ shares accepted, but zero on my hashrate graph...

Looks like great project and fixing grin inflation . Still dev group must do some work : normal wallets for win , mac etc . How do people send or receive coins ? you can't force everyone install Linux ( microsoft wouldn't like it :-) Site or logo is changeable and not important at the moment . Hope not many join mining ( so i can mine a bit more ). Do not rush with an exchanges, make them come to you !

Grin was developed w/ an economic model suited toward its goal of becoming a currency. Clearly, the model you’ve chosen is more suited to a store of (increasing) value, but as such incentivizes hoarding, and therefore is less likely, in comparison, to become successful as a widely used currency. Both have legitimate purposes, and both can possibly be successful in their respective endeavors. Please take this as the constructive criticism it is meant to be. I am a miner and holder of both currencies.

I would also remind you that you haven't address my concern on few pages back, on how would "patching" the MW flaws with bitcoin structure helps ensuring your price stability Hey, regarding the team: We consist of two Rust coders who also have deep experience with cryptography and crypto in general, and two more people for all front end related topics. About the identity of the devs, most of us will stay anon for the time being, but this could change for the mid to long term. Atm we are focussed on bringing out the one click miner and to improve the useability of the BitGrin wallet. More infos, the long term roadmap and much more will come when we will update the website in the coming weeks. Regarding BitGrin: We believe a lot of people - us included - think that Grins MimbleWimble implementation is amazing. The problem we see is that especially for a new born crypto the economic incentives has to exist to be adopted by the crypto community. Good tech only is not enough for that - the project needs to have a sound economical basis. This is the reason we decided to fork Grin, where the founders wanted to try out a new model for the mining economy. The idea lead them to implement a linear emission rate: 1. It mimics the inflation rate of fiat, which incentives spending instead of holding. 2. It makes mining a more even field because early and late adopters still get the same mining reward. Nr. 1 is quite problematic, because a currency that incentives spending while not having the ecosystem to be able to spend the currency will hardly be adopted - miners not only need to sell instantly, but are forced to do so, because the value of their holdings are decreasing with every second they hold the currency (the same goes for every holder). Without an ecosystem to spend the currency, the majority of Grins utility as a currency vanishes. Without adoption, no ecosystem, without ecosystem no adoption - a negative feedback cycle is created. BitGrins economic basis mimics that of BTC which incentives holding of the currency and thus giving the currency enough time to build an ecosystem, while people are still able to profit from it in the long run. Following this we strongly believe that BitGrin is very likely to be adopted by the crypto community.

I like that projects and Biggrin are no exception interested in complete anonymity and privacy of user data! I also noticed that the developers wanted to stay in the shadows and not to announce their names?!

So this is a good job for the team. If this will going to continue then definitely this project will goes good along over a period of time. There is nothing to worry investing in a project like this. Does the BitGrin (XBG) project started a bounty campaign program? If it does then there is a high chance that the project will be more successful. This is a good project with a good team.

It's something both the Grin and BitGrin teams are already researching. They're just promising something that is going to be added anyway to sell their premine (they will never add it) More info: https://www.grin-forum.org/t/confidential-assets/1217

It's something both the Grin and BitGrin teams are already researching. They're just promising something that is going to be added anyway to sell their premine (they will never add it) More info: https://www.grin-forum.org/t/confidential-assets/1217but why you say they will never add it? remember Dark Coin (Dash coin), no one believe them when they released in 2014, but they become a huge success.

I suppose anything could happen. I just think their incentives are wrong to take a huge premine. We take a monthly payout dev fee, so we're incentivized to keep building and improving. A big premine just means they have the incentive to sell as soon as possible.

It should be on couple of good exchanges and everything should be transparent from start to gain the trust. I have not much knowledge about this fork probably but premine coins should have transparent use case. It will remain to be seen how it plays and how different it is than the original version of Grin. Support on exchanges will decide its fate for sure.

That's fair enough - I think you need to find the balance between the risks if you don't have any premine and then have zero dev and the coin dies, versus the other end where its just a cash grab and no-one has confidence. Dev seem to be doing a great job at the moment - fixing bugs, working on the wallet (in beta), and engaging with community in Discord. Discord has around ~200 people most of the time https://discord.gg/QMM4av

This is a very good project. First of all team is rock solid, they know their stuff which is very good for the community Mining is easy, my miners just runs without any troubles. The economy of this coin is very good, mining right now is good as well. The only drawback is that it is still complicate to handle the wallet, you need good IT knowledge, but the best part of all is that BITGRIN team want to ease normal people life by introducing simple tools. I am eager to see the new GUI wallet, I have been waiting this and it will make my life more easy

the new gui wallet will come into next 2 days. Hashrate is slowly increasing looks like a few good people saw it as a good project
this point is a temporary interest simply because a couple of sites that compare new projects gave a good rating. the project is interesting but the developers are clearly not the best level when compared with the same grin or beam projects. when will you add exchanges?

GUI wallet is now internally tested and operational. You will be able to download the latest version in about 10hours ( countdown on www.bitgrin.io ) If you have any questions to the development team, or about MimbleWimble in general, don't hesitate to ask here.

Dear BitGrin Community,
we are happy to announce the world first GUI Wallet release for BitGrin, which features a simple one click enviroment to send, receive, withdraw XBG between Users and from mining pools.
There is no need for experience in Linux or with CLI anymore - the BitGrin wallet comes as a binary which installs after one click and the wallet can be used by anyone with zero experience in computer science or crypto.
In the beginning the wallet supports Windows and MacOS, but because its written in electron, porting on other platforms wont take long and will happen soon.
Please check this following video for a preview of our amazing GUI Wallet BitGrin GUI Wallet VideoBitGrin GUI Wallet Download

I just tested the new GUI Kingfish wallet - running on W10 Using the MINE option to withdraw coin from pool. No special port to open, and no special IT knowledge, withdrawing coin is a pure joy, very easy, thank you BITGRIN team

funny supporters for a coin which is just a copy of grin lol
BitGrin is a fork from GRIN, right! But would a copy not do the same as the orgignal? Exactly, we don´t do the same, thats why we forked. Hopefully you see with the amazing GUI wallet (you should relly try it out) that one of our Goals is the easiest and best user expierence while using MimbleWhimble tech. GRIN has a total other approach while they focus on their tech users. I dont wont to dive deeper in the economic topic - if you follow the price of GRIN you know what i mean. Inflation is eating value. I hope you can find some time and look deeper into BitGrin, that will change your mind!

Inflation is eating value. I hope you can find some time and look deeper into BitGrin, that will change your mind! grin was never meant to be a store of value. It was designed for a purpose to be an alternative to fiat cash and current price is not indicative of its true potential as one day i am sure grin will set a standard. On the other hand bitgrin forked with the same code and has a fixed supply. Big deal??? It has a wallet now and i can see that. But my question is, aren't there already coins like that ? beam for example is far superior than this copy cat. A sane person will hold beam instead of this copy if he really want to hold. Grin brought new tech to the table and is unique. But what did bitgrin bring tell me. Hello reoparker, thanks at first for your reply. Your argue line shows me cleary, that you dont have looked deeper into the idea of BitGrin and come here most likely to spread negative vibrations :-) Bitgrin is a lot more than a fork with a fixed supply but i don´t want to do your homework to research facts if you are realy interessted in this. So i recommend to you, if you are realy interested in this Project, to take your time, brew a coffee or Tee and join our Discord and Telegram Channel. Scroll back and read from the begining about the idea and what its all about. There are so many amazing things to come.

This project starts a few weeks ago and does already set standards what UI should look like. The GUI will be also available for GRIN, so don’t forget that.
The focus of BitGrin is totally different as GRINs and that is clear when you dive deeper in the ideas behind the two Coins. There is no need to be destructive here.
The market will decide what will be the best implementation of MimbleWhimble, but please also consider, that GRINs focus is more on digital cash while BitGrin is digital gold.
Same technology but not the same goal!

Absolutely! Also loving the GUI wallet. So many miners I know store their Grin on the pool or exchange because of difficulties setting up their own node. Sending to Bitmesh was nice and easy. Only sent a small amount to test but sold for 60k sats, so I'm happy with that

Q&A the next days with the Team! If you have questions, let us know
1. I understand how coins like XMR will struggle to scale up for real world use due to the bloated blockchain size, and MW is is far ahead in avoiding that problem. But how fast can the Bitgrin MW based blockchain perform in terms of maximum transaction throughput (committed TPS)? 2. What system is used to fairly distribute the treasury portion of mined coins to the active Bitgrin developers?

Hi everyone,
just updated the ANN with our roadmap, which outlines our goals for BitGrin in the short and midterm.
Two major topics are the interactive transactions (both sender and receiver need to be online) and the GPU/Asic transition of the PoW algorithm.
We believe we can create an infrastructure that doesnt force both sender and receiver to be online so that users can transact in BitGrin like on any other cryptocurrency.
The second major topic is based on our believe in decentralisation: Asics are specialized mining hardware with costs starting at thousands of dollars and thus increasing the barrier of entry for mining by a huge margin. For better decentralisation we want to keep the barrier of entry for mining as low as possible, which could mean that we will keep the share between asics and gpu blocks at a certain ratio and do not transition fully to asics.

Why is MimbleWimble such a huge leap for privacy technology?
All privacy coins before it had their privacy added on top.
MimbleWimble is private on a protocol level, no opt-in, no ring signatures. Its a public database of blinded numbers, that you can make operations on.

I posted this @ XMV: "Congrads to the Monero family. I believe this is the best Fork yet to emerge. The Best Private Digital Currency in the World : a truly tall , bold , and questionable statement 🤔 MoneroV fulfills the long overdue desire for a truly anonymous, decentralized, finite peer-to-peer electronic currency. Individuals and businesses can transact securely, reliably and anonymously with low fees using MoneroV. How does this project , I got to ask 🙉 , top the MW Protocol 👀 with the economics of Bitcoin 🤤 as the fork of Grin , the new all mighty BitGrin XBG❓Just researching this project made me grin hard , unlike 😳 Cosmos ATOM that made my head spin in astonishing amazement. There are So many great projects emerging. I am excited as adoption is finally knocking on the front door. I understand how important community is as well as the technical aspects and that is the very strong reason that I speculate that MoneroV will be a great , no huge success ‼️ 😉 🤝 😎" "As the end of the year closes Q4 '19 MimbleWimble implementation will take place‼️ 😁🤗 🎉 This is what will make this so GREAT 👍🏽 😎 This excellent. I am so stoked. Just wanted for everyone to do their research. I myself intend for XMV , ELD & XBG in my portfolio. ALL hopefully will soon be on the MW Protocol if not all ready (XBG 😉) Good luck everyone"
Nice project but do I believe that it is the best privacy coin out? Nah, right here is THE BEST‼️ It's is now out that the MW Protocol is the benchmark for anonymity. We have set the bar SO High that to compete they will have to join. Kudos. More exchanges added & then Soon after coinmarketcap and then a moonshot.

Version v1.0.5 of BitGrin node is now available: https://github.com/bitgrin/bitgrin/releases/tag/1.0.5v1.05 fix the orphan issue. Added several preferred nodes on high speed connections with high capacity, on every continent Fixed the issue with nodes becoming defunct and basically banned for 2 weeks Sets everyone's config to look for more nodes to connect to Makes the peer finding computation loop not run every milisecond, saving resources You can download v1.05 of kingfish soon As well as a node image to host yourself in the cloud to help out the network even more

Why is it mine?
Coins to the bitmesh exchange are not credited for a week! They say that the reason is fork of the coin. Network is unstable. The developer does not even appear here.

It's probably a failed transfer, try to do a wallet check. Your coins are most likely in your wallet. (because of how MimbleWimble works, they might not appear in the UI without unwrapping) The last message from the developer - April 06, 2019, 09:26:20 PM Coin is dead
We are more active on twitter, discord, and telegram. I will try to make more time to respond here, thank you for reminding me

The last message from the developer - April 06, 2019, 09:26:20 PM Coin is dead
Hi hater/fuder This is mainly because your don't know how to use discord, what a shame for someone that is suppose to know crypto. Dev are here all daysYou can use at least one hundred alternative forums, sites and social networks. But people make conclusions about the coin on bitcointalk and github activity.

Thank you, I follow your advice based on bitcointalk activity, now I fell very worried about 2 well known coins. I am afraid they are dead, because dev didn't show since 2010 and the other last activity was in 2016 ! Great advice, try to get a life

Today was a bad day for mining on the Bitgrin dev pool. Several miners complained about reducing, unchanged and disappearing balances. Apparently there was a node upgrade and possibly a fork, one of the devs said generally (with no detail):
"It seems the pool was mining a fork for a few hours today so those coins weren’t valid."
Unsure what the status is but I would like assistance with the "shared transaction id" from the pool (so that 749 XBG I sent to myself aren't lost).
This project seems promising from several perspectives (the tech, the economics) but I have to say that the mining experience, communicating with miners, usability of wallets, pools, etc is, well . . . an opportunity for improvement.

That is true, mining at this point is not as user-friendly as we want it to be. Keep in mind this is still very early days and its and miner adoption is definitely a priority for Bitgrin, we are working on infrastructure so it's seamless

Huge development update! We’ve been relatively quiet about this, but we’ve been working on a simple to use JavaScript library that will allow developers to easily integrate with BitGrin and build wallets, exchanges, games, or anything they can imagine. We just hit a milestone with this project and now have nodes working with a single process. In the short term we’ll refactor Kingfish to use this library which will dramatically improve performance, stability, and crush dozens of existing bugs all in one go. In the longer term we expect this to become the go-to library for third party developers to build out an ecosystem of high end BitGrin applications, similar to how web3 enables this for Ethereum dApps. Both the Kingfish update and the BitGrin library is expected to be completed in the next week or two. We’ll make the library available on npm for all to use freely.

No coins are lost, once the transaction is expired (up to 90minutes to wait) just run a wallet check, and your coins will be back in the wallet.
Wallet check comment can be found on kingfish by pressing the small gear on the bottom left

DELISTING ALERT, BitGrin is being delisted from Bitmesh effective 18 June. Users have until 30 June to withdraw otherwise coins will be burned. The only other viable exchange is vinex.network. According to the developers, "anyone can list Bitgrin if they want," (per Discord) and there are no updates to the several problems with forks, orphaned shares, and troubles with wallet syncing.
@bladdoyle, thank you for helping with the pool payout problem yesterday (about 1k XBG). However, that payout did not work and must have been cancelled. Can you please reset it so I can request the payout again?

You draw an alarmist situation, which is not the case when you follow the coin since day one. There are issue, this is what to expect for early adopters and new protocol like mimblewimble, but this is not that dramatic as you explained. I understand your frustration papa, lost coins, wallet that don't work well on MAC... First Bitmesh is delisting, yes, but not only XBG, they are delisting many coins, almost all altcoin in fact Dear Users, After review, BitMesh decided to delist the following coins at 2019-6-18 12:00(UTC+8): XRP, VBK, XBG, TERA, CHI, PATH Bitmesh is changing their business model, we can't blame them for that, there is an other exchange https://vinex.network/market/BTC_XBGMore will come later, what I mean without bitmesh the coin will survive, this is not a big deal at all. Communication is getting better, now someone that is not a dev will handle the communication part. Today is a great day to mine XBG XBG the only MW coin with sound economics.

I was asked nicely by a community member that I respect to restate my concerns here more objectively. Here goes--- 1. Wallet functionality. The XBG wallet is the central infrastructure piece of a project for users. However, the Bitgrin wallet (Kingfish) doesn't work for me or for many community members. It requires use of a VPN and other hacks which have no guide. A new wallet to fix was pre-announced then delayed. With recent delisting you have to hire third parties on OTC or others with VPNs to transfer funds. It's inconvenient. 2. Listing problems. There was a fight between the developer and BitMesh a few months ago that seemed to be resolved, but then Bitmesh suddenly delisted Bitgrin this month. This put the users in a bind because of wallet problems and a short time (just 2 weeks) to get coins off Bitmesh or burned. Very little help from developers to resolve this and no communication with the community about listing plans or alternatives. 3. Mining and attacks. The network is constantly being attacked, forking, and rolling back. That may be just new project blues but in my experience I've never seen a project so frequently under attacks of different kinds. The project also lost money with double spends on exchanges. There's no explanation for the consistent attacks nor have the devs outlined a plan to fix it -- for example, chain notarization for double spend protection (VBK, KMD, SAFE options) or other tools? 4. Misleading "Bitcoin economics" claim. The "Grin with Bitcoin economics" claim is false and misleading. Bitgrin has 21m coins and Bitcoin has 21m coins but coin count is not "economics." Bitgrin has a large premine that's released by smart contract at 20k each month, and during each of the first four years the premine represents 10.93% of the total (it averages to 4% over total, e.g., by year 2050). That's Bitgrin economics, not Bitcoin economics. 5. Premine accounting. With a high premine of nearly 11% per year (during first four years) an accounting is required. The devs recently put out an accounting, sort of, for the first few months --- but it just basically said "we spent it all on exchanges and mining reimbursements." Even though devs could just say anything, a more credible and transparent accounting will be required to build faith. Project needs: - Wallet: A functioning wallet but in the meantime, a detailed step-by-step guide on how to send/receive XBG using port forwarding and VPNs (with current wallet).
- Listing plan: Project should openly track online where it is applying to be listed and have a channel for community members to support. Project appears to be constantly fighting with exchanges -- find someone to drive this, not the devs.
- Bitcoin economics: stop that bs claim, it's false. 21m coins isn't Bitcoin economics, it's 21m coins. The "economics" includes overhead and Bitcoin had no premine.
- Premine accounting: To gain credibility, project needs to provide credible, transparent, ongoing descriptions of premine spending plan w/ actuals spending, presented in a credible way.
Also, the project needs to stop making enemies, unnecessarily, of its community members.

Dev smaug volunter to help anyone transfer their coin from bitmesh to vinex for those who have problems to do so.
I know it is not a final solution, but I really hope the future kingfish 2 will solve everyone sync problem.
I personnaly have no problem with kingfish under windows 10.
It seems some solved their wallet issue by installing c++ libraries.
I can name many coins where the start was not easy for end user by got fixed with time. I am still trying to get the VEIL I mined which disappeared for no reason.
Things will improve for sure.

The wallet does not sync. The devs said they would fix it but coins are stuck on exchanges.
Try using the latest kingfish release https://github.com/bitgrin/kingfishIf that doesn't work remove bg_chain_data from your ~/.bitgrin/main Other fixes include connecting via a VPN that allows for port forwarding. Upcoming Kingfish2.0 should fix all those issues.

Hi--- checking in on this again, would be nice to recover the 1k --- it never confirmed. My wallet is working now, kindly check the official pool wallet and manually reset the amounts there and I'll make another request to transfer? Thank you. @bladdoyle, thank you for helping with the pool payout problem yesterday (about 1k XBG). However, that payout did not work and must have been cancelled. They are looking to list Bitgrin in new exchanges. The goal is to make MW user friendly. Actually its not. If you want send Grin Coins the receiver have to be online. And Bitgrin will change it. And that will be huge.

Vote for Bitgrin (XBG) to be listed on qTrade! We need XBG on more exchanges besides Vinex ASAP. There's a proposal to list XBG on qTrade which lists 'original dev coins'. You'll need to sign up, confirm your email, then go here - https://qtrade.io/listings

just one exchange, but volume is dry like many altcoins it will take time to grow as many exchanges need to do custom coding to implement trading for this.

There's an epic cash promoter saying bitgrin is dead and a lazy fork with 10% dev fee. As said by MajorMiner found here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5163970.160"looked at Bitgrin and I didnt go with them because they are truly a lazy single algo fork of Grin with a 10 percent dev fee and HODL centric mentality. Their business angle is a dead end. Epic Cash is young, more agile, still small, multi algo, clearly evolved version of priors with vastly more potential. I dont give a shit about the dev wallet, I buy my own toys. Furthermore, once the coin gets some value I will share/invest some of my own coins into the project to drive and promote it"

ewryboy shold be very cautious about this "projects"
after 10 months there not able to secure network, so what you get is constant forking, attacks on chain, its only traded on shady exchanges with washtrades, and they re proud of that,
if youd like to seell this coins, thers no way how to, deposits are constantly disabled like now, its disalbed for one week, and no one give a fuck to tell you what is happening and when this all willl be sorted out, even when they open deposit, you can bet it will stay like dat for 2,3 day, then again disabled, then exchages doing price manipulations aswell nonethless to say it will take yo like 36hours to get coin on exchange if its open, and even its open, there isnt a any guarantee your deposit will come in, sa it happened so many times, thell been claimed non,no,no we didnt recieved anything, but they did as wasc onfirmed, so thay wnated to cheat on live. or maybde theyre just so retaded, dot think so.
and even that is depo is open, this is not any guerante again, as it in more than 50 fails, so again, fail, fail after fail
and their sayng in ama, its easy to use, looll,,,...
lol, and they calle them selves a a community, ,they are just a shady scammer where anything is working,
and other funny thing is they still claiming is, we have bitcoin economic, does btc have dev fee? dont think so, so its onlt your brgaaed economcis, so stop telling this shit anymore
next thing, in the roadmap, they told ther will be a mobile wallet in q3, you know what they have, a nothing, big nothing, even rodamap was removed, if they claim something, that will make, you can bet they will not deliver on atime at all, you can wait next time, and youll get bugged crap, thats the how doing work..
and still ssaying, soon, soon, soon, like retaded parrots, they have no ide how to do thing, first planned amater, with copied code, abd added theri dev fees to scam adn dump on people
not ieven going to said, aftere all forks ther is no one able to repair block explore for days, they have no idea to resyn their own wallet, lol, or maybe they just dont even care, because its scam...
and they still be telling everything is allright, even if everything totally fuc ked up... this is just a group of scamming clowns...
im watching this from begging, so better move yourself elswere, this just a waste of time and money
so be very cautious, dont jump on this scam, this coin is absolutely worthlsess...

https://twitter.com/BitGrin/status/1091369743825678336“@ivan_nakamoto We have no premine, it’s a dev fee that takes 4 years to be delivered. Grimble is either too incompetent to understand the difference, or being deliberately misleading about what it means to pre-mine a coin. Hint: they control 99.99% of their coins supply today.” That strategically unmentioned dev fee tho you are a crook, i want my coins back that you stole ! ===> * watch your inbox for my boot up your ass.* 4 years vesting period, this tells u a lot about teams diligence and commitment to whatever they work on. They wont get rewards for 4 years. If someone told me that Im going to work for free for 4 years I would target that persons mug with a jet of urine. Oh what are we up to today? Team is on the binge or high on weed, and nobody cares even though it offends other peoples pent-up feelings. What do we do?

You use the right wallet. Did you open port 8515? You can also use Ngrok, which overcomes the need to port forward. - Download ngrok and unzip it https://ngrok.com/download- Open ngrok - type: ngrok http 8515 Now you will see a screen with an address, something like https://xxxxxx.ngrok.io this is your temporary address were you can withdrawal you coins to for 8 hours. Don't close this screen and the wallet when you try to recieve coins.

- In Kingfish go to settings(gear icon) and enable "accept payments from the outside world" - Go to "receive" and than "receive via http" - use that adres to withdrawal from Vinex, keep your wallet open! (withdrawal 999 xbg or less from Vinex will go automatic. If you do more, Vinex will manually reviewing you transaction) Note, if you use Ngrok, than use that adres.

Hey everyone! It's been a year since we've kicked this project off, and I think it's time to recount what we've accomplished so far. 1 - Released the first wallet with Windows, Linux, and Mac OS support for MW with a friendly GUI and easy payment solutions, Kingfish 2 - Updated and corrected security flaws found in the Grin core code (this was pulled back in to the Grin project, which we initially forked from) 3 - Got listed on BitMesh 4 - Got delisted on BitMesh 5 - Got listed on Vinex 6 - Got listed on STEX 7 - Got listed on Vitex 8 - Got listed on CITEX 9 - Mobile wallet support provided by ViteX wallet 10 - Crossed over 1k Twitter followers 11 - Grew our Chinese community to over 1k on the WeChat group 12 - Successfully hard forked (TWICE!) without chain split issues Congrats to everyone participating, in celebration we're going to also do a little Twitter giveaway (you can find it on @BitGrin Twitter account) Let's keep this rolling in to 2020

Grin source code? Is this a Grin coin fork? I was one of the major contributors to grin in times past, having done most of its improvements with no pay. I came here to introduce myself for I believe code thieves must know who I was back then. Ive never groused about not getting paid for my work coz I always knew sometime I will come up to whoever stole my work and clobber the thief.

Yes this is a Grin fork. I'm not sure what you mean about "stealing". It's an open source project.

I think that after the MWC launch this coin has been swept away, now the project cannot continue. Unfortunately it is the crude reality

A new philosophy and approach to what Bitgrin is about 3. A new codebase, differentiating us further from Grin 4. Rebranding 5. Alternative proposal to current PoW
