Nope cause back then in 2008 i don't know bitcoin exist much more use a pc lol. It was later 2009 that ive learned to use a computer but now when i think back if only ive discovered, what bitcoin is i would probably invest in it or earn from faucets but right now bitcoin has given us another chance to ride on the boat once more given that the market is dumping right now it might best to accumulate now than regret later.

Same with me, in 2008 I didn't know about Bitcoin. and in 2017 I just got to know him, along with the rapid development of BTC prices at that time. sometimes thought about, why I didn't know him earlier

I think your right by saying that it could be age gap is the reason but I believe that their feeling now would be yours when you reach the same age. This will only possible if you get nothing from your youth days except failure. So i think it would e better to make yourself prepared for what things to come ahead of you.

In the year 2018 at the beginning of the year many were enthusiastic about cryptocurrency by looking at the results obtained in 2017. The price of crypto coins is high so that many get the benefits at the end of 2017. But at the end of 2018 the condition was very sad because the cryto coins dropped and cause enthusiasm in cryptocurrency is not good.

Honestly I was disappointing, I was only 18 when the crash happened and I told everyone I know that dollar would become valuable once again because of the lack thereof and until they print out more dollars the economy would be weird, for all the foreign countries the dollar value would increase versus their own fiat currency because even USA had lack of dollars for themselves so the other countries would be in dire need for dollars for purchases that were made with dollars (both products brought in from USA plus the oil deal of course) and asked everyone I know to buy dollars right now because value will increase and sell it before they print out more.

However, I was a kid at 18 and had no money and nobody really cared about what I said and nobody actually made a single dollar profit from it, if only people listened to me.

I honestly wasn't really into markets and let it go by as if it wasn't of any importance, especially with how it didn't affect me or the company I was working for at that point. Looking back at the actual damage, and how we potentially could have seen the world economy implode completely, it does makes me feel good about how Bitcoin made me more aware of economics and the governmental system in general.

I have done everything I can to hedge most of my fiat net worth by holding Bitcoin. The drop in price made me convert even more fiat to Bitcoin, and I will continue doing so till the price jumps over $6000 again, and from there very conservatively dollar cost average regardless of what the price under normal circumstances. I'm not buying into a bubbly market.

I'm building up and protecting my own wealth, can't rely on pension funds for a single second with how young I still am. Better safe than sorry.

I don't know what was happening in that year because I never knew about cryptocurrency and besides that, I've been busy with my real jobs. I am sure that people who get involved with cryptocurrency in 2008 will have a lot of money especially if they have much bitcoin and they sold the bitcoin in 2017. It is not easy to get into bitcoin, I had been searching for info for so many years, some of my tech savvy friend got to know about bitcoin as early as 2008, from some anime site they frequent, but they didn't care about it until lately. Think about Winklevoss twin, I believe they are too, merely lucky enough to acquire recently massive bitcoins from the source that came from the FBI, there is a lot of stories associate with how to obtain bitcoin, but not on clearnet.

I don't think I could buy more bitcoin right now, all the services/exchanges that I could use years ago are now completely gone, and they are not coming back anytime soon.

right, most of them don't know bitcoin at that time. but if we look at history, maybe the people at that time were retired from their jobs, with a very significant price increase. lucky for those like that, to know the technological developments earlier, so they can enjoy the results now

I think it make some sense, everyone was used to be working for dream prior to the crisis, I’m not sure what is that dream they all working for, retirement? Flying car? Fly to the moon? I think they used to be working for space travel. And that’s real many people loss their jobs and they need to find job eagerly, most likely they don’t have saving at all or want to make more money to save themselves? and I found many properties getting foreclosure, some huge constructions project halted, and people are lining up the mental clinic, I think many suffered from mental health? If you ask me whether I had that dream, I don’t have that dream, all I care about is waking up everyday and go to work to feed myself, and it is the same for all my peers too, we never talk about some kind of dream.

In the following year I got to know bitcoin but not interested in learning it, never thinking in the future it will become most popular.

In 2008, I remember hearing the grumblings of older folks who were watching their retirement savings tank in value because they had left everything in the stock market. That's typical for 401(k) investment. Meanwhile, I didn't care because I had no retirement savings anyway. I was living hand to mouth and couldn't care less about the stock market, bailouts, or any of it.

I'm agree with it, most millenias could only get into debt, personal loan, study loan, getting married and easily piled up with so much loan that no recourse, my peer are getting 100k in scholarship in that year, but they're quickly spend it up, I'm too surprise how fast they spend the money as I thought it could be enough for a typical person to last for many years of many bills and expense, but well, not today though. I think today everyone, no limited to millenias are highly in debt, old or young all have debt.

No argument there......debt is obviously a general problem these days. But I think millennials have felt the sting most because they never had the opportunity to save like previous generations. It was ~ 2000 or so when wages decoupled from GDP and all economic growth began being swallowed up by bankers. So millennials have never known anything except shit wages and skyrocketing cost of living, in addition to being piled under debt.
