I think it is because the strategy that you have. Trading is like a trial and error game which may also result in losses at times but it would be a helpful way for us to gain better in trading. We can't do trading perfectly and it's never-ending learning and practice to just strive better.

You can be the best technical analyst in the world but if you don't have a proper risk management strategy you will lose. It is statistically proven. Also you need to be cold hearted when trading, don't put any emotions in it. Of course that you can go out and celebrate when you mark up some profits and you are NOT TRADING anymore, but until then cold af.

It is no that easy to make money. If you invested in bitcoin in 2017 you could have made a hefty profit. Patience is the key here for any form if investment, never plan to invest when the market is riding high, invest when the bear market has the clutches. I would invest in this market and wait for the long term till the market rallies again.

I don't trade myself , but i would say you doing something wrong . Try different methods . Maybe you are risking too much , try with less money and see how it goes . Once i did x50 margin long on BTC and got rekt after 5 mins , but if i would do x2-x10 margin i would be profitable currently So check your risk management and look if it could help you

The above points are very good reasons why most of the traders will not be a good trader in his journey and most importantly without experience you cannot success you know your field and without patience you cannot stay long period of time in trading.

I failed for my silly reasons:
1. Always choose Altcoin according to your emotions and not learn about it before.
2. Still buy them when the market is growing, and this kills me.

Well, at least you're being honest and I think you're not the only one here. I'm also been trading with my emotions but I do learn to control it but not that perfect. Sometimes I still lose and not using logical thinking.

Hahaha. Everyone falls for this trap. That's why you better have entry and exit strategy to minimize greediness. If you hit your exit plan then there's no way to stay that long in the market. Sell them and move to the next coins.

Yeah exactly those reasons are affecting your trading success. But for a trader its really important to follow such things like,

1. Right time entry as a buyer.
2. Create own prediction when to buy or sell.
3. Gathering info about a project before buy.

Fear and greed are the most dangerous enemies of any trader. If one can control both these factors he may have good success. Some people take trading as quick rich scheme and ultimately lose their account, taking high risk on any trade is not recommended at any stage. Patience is another key to success in trading.
There may be many successful traders using different trading strategy but you will find all these 3 factors common everywhere, controlling greed and fear and having patience. Just try it you will successful one day.

I think the two biggest reasons are

FOMO (weak hands)

and

leveraged trading. Noobies go in at 50x and then go to sleep. And wake up wondering why their money is gone...

Yes, i agree with you! Those are the main commun mistakes that made traders not getting success in theirs trades. I think the first step and patience are the most important Things when we talk about trading, also as you said fear of losing or missing Profits are also big mistakes for a trader. Successful traders believe in them trades and read carefully the market moves before doing any trade.

The above 3 ways are a main key to success and yet there are a lot of things which should be kept into consideration while going for trading and have a good successful profits ahead. There have many reason for loss on crypto trading and i was face also and still i am learning crypto from different site or article and this forum also.Our first mistake we cannot fix our sell order because of we always make a huge profit and when price going dump for 2 weeks sell our asset with loss .So first think your target profit and always get small profit and increase asset and i hope you will be success .

There have many reason for loss on crypto trading and i was face also and still i am learning crypto from different site or article and this forum also.Our first mistake we cannot fix our sell order because of we always make a huge profit and when price going dump for 2 weeks sell our asset with loss .So first think your target profit and always get small profit and increase asset and i hope you will be success .

The problem isn't about setting sell orders. Most Crypto traders don't have proper risk management and strategies in place. All they do is to patronise signal channels and pump groups. Even after making mistakes, They don't take note of those mistakes in order to learn from it. Instead, They close downntheir account and give up. It's the same for every other trader that has given up already.
