After GoFundMe pulled they Impeach Trump Fund worth $50 million, Escobar Inc. is getting ready for an initial coin offering (ICO) for a stablecoin that’ll be attached to the US dollar. The coin has been named ESCOBAR.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

This could be an attempt to get publicity and attention.
Reading thorough the article I could not understand the relationship or why investors wood be willing to put capital into this. And targeting a particular nation limits the exposure as citizens of other nations would not be interested.
