I've read this announcement that they have plan to reduce the total supply. If this will be completed on their end, I bet the price will surge in the market. I don't think they will lower the supply, PundiX started with less than a billion of supply and then they increase the supply through swap, so it's not possible they will again go back to the old supply.

Lolz the current price of NPXS is even low than it was 2 years back. I'm amazed to see why didn't the price of this token increase to over a cent ($1 is a daydream and next to impossible). We will make a separate announcement after the token swap is complete to notify users when deposits and withdrawals of PUNDIX will open.
Thereafter, users will be able to use the convert function to swap their NPXS for PUNDIX tokens.

They maybe are giving enough time for the old coins to be traded, after they will just have to manually convert their tokens to the new contract.
Also, Pundix is going mainet so this old token needs to be converted anytime soon as it could go more process.
