Everyone should have a look at the article just to see the picture of the computer that was revealed at CES, it is absolutely beautiful.

Some said we have already protected from the quantum computer. As far as i know, the quantum computer is working to degrade the SHA. This time whole of crypto are using SHA 256 but there was possibility if in the future we will use SHA512 to increase the protection to the quantum computer. CMIIW

I like the picture Grin

When there are many more quantum computers in out there, it means the new era started and agree or not, and we need to prepare too.
The crypto will be fine and I don't think that it will make crypto in dangerous because I am sure that the crypto can protect the network and every developer will make another upgrade too.
I think we don't have to be afraid of their presence because it is what will happen from now on. When the new technologies come out, there will be new things that we need to learn so we can follow that technology and use technology to protect our system.

But I don't know because it's only in my imagination.

If that is the quantum computers we know, so the cryptocurrency is in danger. Because these computers are millions of times faster than currents, and it does not take long time for them to crack the encryption of cryptocurrency.

Biggest threat against the crypto is quantum computers. The hash power can be manipulated by these supercomputers, so we need upgrades to network before it was too late for crypto community. Hope quantum-resistance projects will shine after bear market.

SHA-256 is quantum resistant the reason most blockchains are vulnerable to quantum attacks is because the SHA-256 is split in half so each end of the key is not really SHA-256 but 128, dig into it will be a good research.
