Thanks for looking at my project, very much appreciated.

It is all very much experimental. I have never done e-commerce, comics or any type of business before. It is all very new to me. The main reason for the $200 for a physical copy was to ensure it would cover the cost for printing, shipping, and any other unforeseen circumstances, I wouldn't want to be in the position unable to deliver. Also as I would only be printing 21 copies it could be considered a collectible.

The main reason to make it as a collectible is once again as an experiment. I want to try and attach the ownership of each copy to Bitcoins blockchain and see if it can work.

That is true, a collectable could make it worth the money. Are you going to hire a comic creator/illustrator? Or do you have a background in graphic design? Anyway, it is also a good idea to attach the blockchain to the idea of "a collectable".

I just did what you said and updated the main page, so now it has an image of the first comic page, I didn't even think about that.

Good that you did that, now people at least get a glimpse of the comic book and they will know that you've at least put some work into it.
I hope everything works out for you, might donate a couple of dollars myself.

I have been paying an illustrator to do the work. It would be great if I could draw, would be much easier bringing what is in my mind to life.

If there are any illustrators that would be keen to help out, DM me. I wouldn't really be able to offer much at the moment as far as payment goes, but you never know what might come of it.

Hello everyone,

I have been busy learning all about BTCPay Server and the crowdfunding app. I have managed to set one up for this project. I have cancelled it on Kickstarter.

I was unable to create Lightning Network payments, so only onchain donations can be made. I have changed the funding structure, you can check it out here:

I dont think there is any need to start a new thread.

I followed your link and I made a contribution, really like your
project, I hope you can follow through on 21 issues.

I also like your idea to place QR Codes within the publication,
good thinking.

I will also make the comic interactive placing QR codes in places where the audience may want to read more information about a certain topic.

The project is really a series of comics containing historical
facts in a visual presentation, am I right?

Will the printed issues be printed on newsprint/comic paper?
do you have any more details on the finished article?

Thanks for the feedback.

Yes, it will contain historical facts and also fiction. When Satoshi gets introduced this will all be fiction, we can only imagine what he was doing in the early days.

I really want to add simple things in the comic like printing money and what that means. A friend of mine didn't know the amount of money in circulation is constantly increasing. This is not his fault, its the systems fault.

I haven't looked into printing too much. I will print on whatever peoples preference is.

Some topics that will be covered in the first issue:

CDO's
Subprime mortgage
Corrupt Rating Agencies
Bailouts

It will all be pretty basic. The idea is to give people the urge to find out more, that is what the QR codes will be for.

I have sent a tweet about it, it got a few likes and retweets. I put an article about it on Yalls and have just posted an article on Reddit.
