When you mentioned it would take a while to upload earlier, I just wondered how big the collection for every week was.

Its also interesting that the newest member on your main list is #2,575,915, which means that (as of right now) 10,567 accounts have been added to the forum who haven't yet changed their trust list. (or else they got banned, aren't active, or somebody else added them to one of their lists). I don't know why any newbie would build a custom list, as a matter of fact the very bottom of your list will be interesting to examine to see what's going on in their heads.

It's not really the size that takes long, it's the large number of files. To update the navigation History History (weeks): << 1 2 [ 3 ] 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 >>, I have to update 140k+ files. And since that number grows each week, I'm really going to need a VPS soon.

The newest members don't have their own Trust list, they're distrusted by others. This is the newest member who made a custom Trust list:

Veleor still has only 9 inclusions. I'm starting to think "DefaultTrust" is counted too. If that is correct, I have to adjust the Rank up pipeline, even though I can't know who includes DefaultTrust.

I'm assuming the above is correct, and in the next update I'll list all accounts with 9+ inclusions as qualified for DT1.

I'm only now realized I misinterpreted theymos' requirements: I excluded users <Member from voting, but I don't think that's correct. I'll fix that later.

I found another mistake: I added (many) users with less than 10 earned Merit to the Rank up pipeline. They're now gone, which reduced the total number of users from 355 to 246.

You can request theymos to blacklist you from DT1. Being on DT2 is up to other DT1 members only.

This list means you could qualify for DT1 once theymos runs the next update. That would mean you'll get to include or exclude other DT1-members, but considering you have more DT1-exclusions than inclusions, you'll still be excluded. That doesn't take away your DT1 voting power, but the feedback you left still won't show up by default.

Theymos usually updates DT1 in the first few days of the new month.

Usually theymos' final list has less users than mine: not all of them fit the other criteria, like being online or making a post not too long ago.

DT is not a prestigious position on this forum any longer. It's a bingo game where almost anyone can make it. Only thing that screws ya is a load of ~ against ya.

Multiple profiles change each month due to new users making DT and their inclusions. 1 month a guy is neg, next month magically not neg depending on who's in, whos out, whos on DT1 or 2.

Just doesn't feel like a prestigious position these days. Everyone has a different opinion of how things should work. Multiple people have different ideas. Multiple people have different interpretations of the rules.

Theymos made this system a year ago and didn't change it, so he must be thinking that this is working perfectly and just fine. But since then, the number of the users that are being qualified is increasing, and I think it's the time now to update this system or simply make the qualification higher, so it will be normal again like the first time this system has been implemented.

For me, the system works fine until now, the only thing is just like what you said, it's more like a bingo game, 100/160(estimated) users will be picked, and a load of new DT can replace those old DT. In conclusion, I really think that the system needs an update.

As far as I know, theymos doesn't think the Trust is perfect. Far from that!

Many people will agree, but apart from suggested (small) changes, I haven't seen a better system. If you can come up with a better Trust system, you should really post it in Meta.
