I red about GRIN and didn't believe that its price would rise. Because it has a strange mining way. Almost everyday new 100K GRIN coins are mining. So everday market value rise about 500K USD. It is sustainable?
And why its price has just raised so quick?

It's probably due to the Mimblewimble privacy protocol and people loves to get with this kind of project. And look what happened after Litecoin announced about the protocol too, I guess you're aware what's with Litecoin now.
After being quiet for quite awhile it has skyrocketed. People are buying the Mimblewimble protocol and that's what with GRIN today although there's a dip happened, it shall rise again soon.

It's due to the current low supply but as the supply and inflation is so big it is not a sustainable price. As more coins are minted the value will fall so get in and out quickly

Have in mind that the increase in money assets will have an increased effect on supply and this will increase the inflation. I would proceed with caution. Got in and out very quickly for a short-term investment.

The plan was to get more coins into circulation and to prevent price manipulation which I think is fair thing to do because if the team stick to normal block reward, the price is going to increase greatly and the beginning and tail off with time. For me Grin is a good project with no cut for VCs or the team, will like to see how it fair with Monero

Price went up because it was added to exchanges. Since marketcap raise half million a day at this price you can imagine price will decrease in the future. |

Many big exchanges listed Grin. Bittrex and Polonies caused this hype. What a pitty that Grin has a big inflation rate . LOL why is that a pity? It can still work perfectly. Emission rate have nothing to do with efficiency. But if can be your get rich fast scheme. Is that important? There were 99% of coins made just to get rich fast. Why we should pity Grin to not be one of them? |

But wiping off old transactions, meaning somehow it is not traceable anymore, would that really be great?

The tech behind grin is good and it is officially endorsed by theymos. If theymos have said "buy doge", people would have bought doge too. I know the theymos part doesn't make much sense but people even bought the coins mcafee poined out and most people see theymos as a more credible character... |

Perhaps while the GRIN coin is young and the demand is not so great, the creation of 100k coins every day seems to be large, but with the growth of demand and the spread of the coin this will not be so much. We all knew that it's never going to make it because big coins can simply implement mimblemimble and make Grin obsolete - so it had a few fake pumps in it but that's it.
I don't think we've seen the final pump but it's a coin with great tech but no future.

I think it is difficult to determine whether a project is a scam or not if there is no deeper investigation, indeed there should be research on the development of their projects and if it is proven to be a scam they should be jailed for fraud. |

Because it has one of the best technology called mimblewimble and its distribution is also fair. The reason behind the hype was people were very much talking about this someday, theymos is also accepting it as payment of the forum. Generally it will lose the value though.

LOL what scam? What are you two talking about. It is opensource fair launched PoW coin. There is no company behind it. There was no crowdsale or ICO as in ETH. There is no one to get scammed here. Grin was made same way as Monero or Bitcoin. The only possible way to start money. |

Supply, circulation and increase in number of transaction only make the coins value in the raise or fall. I am not sure about the GRIN coin explain their protocol and etc. They want to have the best outcome with their project. They should list their coins in the best exchanges to reach the good supply and circulation. |

The circulating supply of GRIN is still only a bit over 3 million and market cap is only about $15 million. But it is listed on many big and small exchanges and daily trading volume is close to its entire market cap. With such impressive numbers, do not expect it to go down much and it should be going into double digits in coming weeks.

This is a really large amount for daily coin making. Demand must exceed this quantity, then the price will rise, otherwise we will see how the price drops every day until it reaches the point where the balance of supply and demand is reached.

Did theymos really endorse grin? I thought he said it was only worth around $1 and to invest carefully. This really is speculative, even more so that the other crypto currencies. It's worth holding a bit, but not going all in
