Ethereum over take ripple again in market capitalization!

Ethereum is making some surprises move and it has over take ripple again in terms of market capitalization.  It is also good for ethereum hodl as the downward trend seems to affect ethereum more than any other coins in the market.  Ethereum was having a very large market capitalization before and it has never been competition with ripple throughout 2017 were we have great bullish trend but since last year it started to compete with ripple. It is currently around $121 and has made +2% today.

It's not surprising anymore if Ethereum takes over CMC's 2nd spot and other same platforms. And I'm expecting if Ripple starts to overtake Ethereum's market cap again, we'll see people here are going to quick in posting that sudden overtaking.

These are well known for taking each other's place so don't caught surprise if this can happen again in the future. But we'll see more of their action once there's already a confirmation that we're really in a bull run.

Daily and weekly charts for eth look bullish so my personal long targets are also high for eth/btc my targets are 0.08 to 0.1 btc per eth and for eth/usd my targets are 500 to 800 and i think good times are going to come soon for eth.

Market cap alone is a bad indicator to assess a project. A better indicator is the demand in relation to the market capitalization. Ripple is a good example. The number of available coins is deliberately short. A big part of all coins are hold by few founders. The scarcity drives the price. Ethereum has a better distribution.

Excitement about nothing? Yes, today it gets back to 2nd place, tomorrow ripple can get back once again. The fact that ripple dismissed ethereum from the second place for such a long time is a very bad sign for ethereum. And the tendency will be strengthen in future.

This is normal, I'm not surprised, as usual, Ethereum is the best coin after Bitcoin and I think ETH is still a favorite of cryptocurrency users. Like we know Ethereum has a very good platform, so if Ethereum slumps again, I think ETH will easily improve its position

I don't think ripple is that strong, i feel like people are just buying for the hype rather than the product, if you compare the volume of 1 - 5 top coins ripple have the lowest out of them, Ethereum is much a stronger coin compare to ripple in general, i don't really hear people using the product of ripple.

Ethereum place in the cryptocurrency market is in second place,and it has held that position for quite some time now, though for a while now ripple has taken that spot for a short period of time,amd I think that will continue as ripple are really pushing hard and developing their coin greatly.
But for now ethereum's place is in second spot,the demand for the ethereum is quite higher and it's at the moment a better investment opportunity than ripple for now

XRP can only pass temporarily, XRP will never be able to occupy the No. 2 position in coinmarket for a long time. It is the location for ETH, king of ICO and altcoin. And I was not too surprised when ETH took his 2nd position

It's not so bad as you said consider all depend on the trend. Ripple has a problem with the total marketcapitalization which some people are thinking if that was not real marketcap of ripple.
That's not a big problem whatever ethereum placed in number 3 or 2

The position in the market is changing daily so it is not surprising that today ETH is in 2nd position and next day you will XRP is taking over. So the main change should be off price movement like now ETH price is also moving but within some days the seller will start to sell and take profit and the price will start to move down. So it is not still in bullish trend.

I think Ripple will keep growing for a longer time. Although ETH is used by many people, ETH has many uncertainties. I will always have Ripple in my investment plan.

I concur. Although it is good to see ETH at number two, I would also prefer more developments in the platform. I cannot wait for the hardfork and the eventual launch of ethereum 2.0 I hope there will be no more delays

Ethereum is good cryptocurrency after than bitcoin
 So since 2015 market had top coins too low. Bitcoin and ethereum are good major coins more than XRP. i saw xrp price up trend begun in 2017 and market capital also up since thats period. But ethereum always going journey with bitcoin market.
