Is there a future for BTC anymore?

I personally think that we're closer to the bottom than the top. Just like any asset class market cycle, I don't see the current bear market lasting forever.

It is almost the end of the ear and we have already seen in last couple of days that market has slowly but started to move upwards. If we can continue with this movement surely we will see the demand to start rising more in coming days and price will zoom quickly.

There will be more prediction that will be made from many people especially they have different skills to determine where bitcoin price wants to go. But the truth, the prediction is always prediction, and we cannot know what will happen tomorrow. My advice is you don't have to use other people prediction, they can make you lose the money because some people want to spread the good news but the reality, the market is not moving good, so it makes people lost too much money. But we cannot blame those people because it is our mistake to follow them, so it is better to make your own prediction and you can make something if your prediction is wrong.

There is still a future for bitcoin, and bitcoin is also still eligible for profit. Even though bitcoin can make a profit, don't expect too much to get a big profit because it will make you lazy in doing real work.

The key for (store of) value is adoption by usage. No asset will be able to survive long term speculation without a fungible base in demand for at least some other use case. For BTC its usage is limited to trading & mining = translated in no productive usage at all...

However, many of the other cryptocurrencies is gradually being adopted and this is the future of crypto.

Thinking that bitcoin reached a price of 1 million is too greedy and don't expect too much because if it's only false hope, then you will only get disappointment.

The price is around $3500 now.  Price has only went down.  If it does go up, it goes back down later on.  Does anyone here think there is no future for btc anymore?  When the price went to 5k then 10k then 15k and then close to 20k, i thought... wow i think by end of 2018 it would be 50k at least.  And then it dropped all the way down and now its even worst.  I had thought mcafee prediction of 1 million in few year was foolish.  But i thought by then, 100k would seem very reasonable.  Now... it doesn't even look like it will hit 10k even for a very long time.Does anyone here there is no future for btc anymore?  Anyone that has bought btc and held it for the last 1.5 year already is down a lot of money unless you are trading and even then most traders are losing.



I had thought wow if btc would go up to 50k, that would be a decent size of money.  And if it go to 100k, i would be happy.  And if it ever goes to 300k, wow that would be more than good enough.  I did thought about hey imagine btc goes up to 1 million, then well most people would be millionaires if they had at least 2 btc etc.  So someone with 5 btc would feel very good.  But now... it doesn't seem like any of this would happen anytime soon?  There is basically no progress at all for btc.. it keeps going down.



I thought to myself... wow if btc goes to a high enough price, i might not have to worry about money anymore.  Thus anyone here with a job or no job or low paying job or whatnot, btc might be enough to not worry about money anymore.  I mean i'm sure tons of people thought about this right? 

People come up with such post only if the market is facing tough situations, Remember one thing those who made huge money from this were holders for years and they deserved the fruit in 2017. Be optimistic and have faith in this technology, Hopefully the value of BTC will pump slowly in the third quarter and the last quarter will be great this time.

The market has started recovering actually but we should understand that this market cannot continue going up or down but it must be doing any of this at a particular time.  The future of cryptocurrencies market is highly bright and we just need to invest at the right time to be part of that future!

The market has started recovering actually but we should understand that this market cannot continue going up or down but it must be doing any of this at a particular time.  The future of cryptocurrencies market is highly bright and we just need to invest at the right time to be part of that future!

And I think the right time is now and not to wait until the market start moving in an upward direction before one should invest for I think such decision is not rational. There is time for everything as you rightly said we are in one side of the coin now and later it will be the turn of the other side of the coin.

I agree with your opinion that we are close to the bottom since it seems unlikely to me the price can go that much lower, but now the issue is how long it could take the market to begin to recover, in my opinion at least another year is necessary and it could take even longer than that and it means a huge deal of investors that are close to their limit will probably get out of the market and forever lose the opportunity to recover the money they lost during the crash.

Bitcoin is a long term investment asset that has profited the users in long run.
