In most cases ponzi project owners create multiple account to promote it by their own. They are well notified that after making the ANN of their project details here on forum they will get tagged. As a result bitcointalk community will know about their scam plan on a large scale and newbies will not eat their bait easily. Thats why they create different account and spread their referral link to complete their scam game.
I think this guys are doing the exact thing that i described above and using multiple alts to draw community users attention.
