Most people see bitcoin as purely a means of investment.
Where the purchase bitcoin and constantly fix there eyes in the market cap to know when it rises and the sell off.
But bitcoin is more than that. Bitcoin offers a futuristic plan that can be tapped now and developed on
Just the way happen in some developing countries of the world where people prefer to safe their currency in foreign currency so that when ever the said currency increases they will convert it to their local currency which I believe is the same thing that is happening with Bitcoin as an investment.

Those people that doesn't have bitcoin make it hard for themselves to buy bitcoin, in reality buying bitcoin is an easy thing to do. There's a lot of method if they really wish to get even just one of it. Making bitcoin more approachable is a task that everyone can do.

They need to be educated first on what bitcoin really is. There's a lot of wrong information that circulates on the web telling on how bad bitcoin is. Telling people on how volatile it is will make them understand that this is the reason why it has no exact price.

How can someone who isn't interested in bitcoin and does not own any can make it hard for himself to buy? He doesn't care and he doesn't want it. I don't understand what you're trying to say here but from the looks of it it's really complicated Cheesy

To make it approachable you have to make it easy to understand. People don't know how their banks work but they do know how to insert a card into a terminal.

Very simple logic there. But it would really take time to adopt the usage of bitcoin in everyday life of an ordinary individual. There will be ways on how to approach this. Samsung for example is already starting to integrate crypto within the system of their phone. Unfortunately, such phone is very expensive at the moment and only few people can afford. But give it a time and we will reach to the point that this kind of phone will be affordable to the public.

People who dont fully understand bitcoin and blockchain technology cant understand the nature of it even it is easy to use as an alternative payment system and investment.

If you're interested in crypto you'll find a way to learn. Even those people without good educational background can engage themselves in crypto as long as you have the desire to do so.

Bitcoin is already approachable, its just that we just need to explore how this cryptocurrency really works and what is the benefits it can give to you once you use it.

more approachable you mean more adoption ?
all you need is to spread the information about it
people learned to use internet somehow, although it was new , complicated and ,semmingly , unneccessary
nowadays they do not think themselves without it
same thing will go with bitcoin , give it more time, more exposure and it wll be as approachable as any other technology

Bitcoin has been in the market for decade, but it's undeniable that there are still countries, establishments, and a number of peole who don't acknowledge this innovation. Many have heard about it but are unable to realize its real nature due to lack of awareness. I believe that what we need is to properly educate public of what this technology is all about, show to them the opportunities it offers and how it can bring quality of living.

Very simple logic there. But it would really take time to adopt the usage of bitcoin in everyday life of an ordinary individual. There will be ways on how to approach this. But give it a time and we will reach to the point that this kind of phone will be affordable to the public.

That is a good approach to start, right?. But at the long term such practices will end up being really insecure and will lead to more problems than solutions.

I agree that it will definitely take a good while before that is possibly at a mass scale, but steps can be taken. From my point of view, the more merchants that accept it, the better - Not only online but also in stores you see in the everyday life of citizens.

Also, the more services that make Bitcoin be as easy as using your card the better also. Be strive for decentralization and that should remain as a possibility. But for the majority of the population, banks will probably play a key role.

That's the current mindset that the people has about bitcoin. All they listen to those negative words that is thrown to bitcoin but they don't want to hear to lighter side of it when someone tries to explain to them what bitcoin really is.

Showing the good side should start from us and I've been doing this when someone asks me what bitcoin is. I'm plainly explaining that it's a very good way to send and receive local or international payments.

Not all, mate. They're simply lost and confused with these FUDs and you can't blame the first-timers that aren't even aware of how does Bitcoin really behave, price-wise or functional-wise. It is to be expected for them to believe in the headlines at popular news channels and articles, since they've been also trusting those sources of information for a lot of time, or in fact they normally trust those without even thinking twice.
That's a fact, these FUD increases their doubt about bitcoin and that's making them to stay away from it. They trust those source without having a try to even create their wallets. It's about on how they are willing to embrace to technology but in other words, it seems that not everyone is open to this kind of technology. They simply trust those sources as long as it says something about bitcoin and they'll decide that it should be done and that's their take about bitcoin.

Bitcoin will not be difficult for those who want to understand it. Therefore, it is still understandable. Very soon he will completely infiltrate our lives, I believe that it will happen.
It isn't about the difficulty though, the problem is, there is not enough people who WANT to understand it in the first place. Some already think that learning about it is unnecessary since we already have fiat. In this case, we should ignite their interest on why it is needed in our society especially its advantages like transferring value overseas almost instantly with minimal fees.

Samsung has took a big step of introducing a crypto friendly phone. It does not matter that the phone is very expensive as every new model of phone of Samsung is expected to be expensive. After an year time, its price will drop and many people can afford it. The important thing is that due to this, many will come to know about crypto which they were not aware of it before.

Right knowledge is the key for sure, if the cryptodeveloper are more approachable and really do their part to educate ordinary people like in the slum area for sure they will get involve. In time it will be more aggresive in terms of spreading news so wait for the right time to come.

Use the most practical way to explain the function of bitcoin, excellence, and how it works. For a modern society where Android phones are common, using bitcoin is certainly not a difficult thing.
What's difficult is actually convincing the public that bitcoin brings good luck in the economy, because they hear and read from news that illegal bitcoin, etc. So, show an example of some people in your area and come from ordinary people who have become successful because of bitcoin.

For me, there are several ways to use and make for the people to make them easily understand the world of crypto currencies. Especially now, we are in a world of modern era where high technologies are widely use and almost everywhere around us. Bitcoin needs patience and interest even you don't have enough skill or any knowledge yet, because there is where everyone started. Telling your friends and share the true information of Bitcoin and how we live the life on it is a little by little help to spread the Bitcoin goodness and how it becomes more approachable to others.

I agree that bitcoin is not yet approachable for the public.
This could be attributed to the fact that the public seems not be getting any values from bitcoin in their everyday activities.
To put an end to this, there's the need to improve on the various key technologies of the blockchain technology so as to make it bring down values to every day activities of the public.
This will go along way in increasing adoption rate.

Even after Ten years still Bitcoin is used by Geeks and majority of common citizens doesn't seems to use Bitcoin as a currency or even for trading purposes and I think this situation has occurred because still it is not approachable and that is because even it has all the features for a proper usability majority of people doesn't see Bitcoin as an usable currency for anyone who has basic technical knowledge which is not true but in order to change this situation and make Bitcoin more approachable to common people how its path should change in the future both technically and socially to convince it is a currency for everyone

Bitcoin is approachable to everyone, but the thing is how to convince public about it.
Lack of knowledge is the reason that still majority of people are not practically aware of bitcoin or cryptocurrencies.
Along with this, rumors are badly affecting the community growth, i have seen many crypto users who are spreading anti-crypto news over the internet.
A common person will never spare time to read the technical aspects of cryptos but he/she will rely on the news which is currently circulating on social and electronic media.

I don't agree with the sentiment that the majority of users are 'geeks' as you describe them. I know many people that are not closely following technological advancements that are using bitcoin in their daily lives. It's more of a question concerning the popularity of cryptocurrency as a whole.

A decade in and it's safe to say that many people in the early to mid 20s demographic know about bitcoin, and given the opportunity to make purchases with it would be happy to use it as a form of currency. To make it more accessible, simply provide more opportunities to use it amongst people who are aware of its existence.

It's already in the process of reaching out to more people dude. It's all over the internet and social media. And people's natural curiosity will make sure it gets noticed. If people are interested, they'll do something to get to know what it is and what it's for.
Online education is increasing, especially in the social media community so that bitcoin is increasingly known and has an attraction for people to use it.
Of course, bitcoin must be able to provide economic added value so that bitcoin owners become more excited and can prove that bitcoin has changed their lives for the better.

Remember the  trend on 2017?, where evveryone are to hype with this technology. Then realizing that after going into they can't even understand it's basic principles. Then suddenly everyone are going out for the same reason and now we are back to good old days thanks to them tho for their contributions of the price pump

When they realize how this works, it would be easier for them to be a convert. To make my friends learn how to use Bitcoin, I held them a wallet with some amount. In this way they could explore how it works and make their own transaction for whatever way they wanted since in my country, Bitcoin is accepted as a form of payment.
Giving small amount of bitcoin in their own wallet is a good idea because in that way their curiosity becomes working that encourages them to learn more about bitcoin that could help them to use it easily and encourage them to invest more as they already have a knowledge to use it properly and earn a profit from it.

you should tell them about bitcoin like what is bitcoin until the very depth of bitcoin. which certainly tells about the benefits of having bitcoin and can be used as an investment tool. you can tell them through socialization
