Bank Society Coin is a free open source decentralized project derived from Bitcoin. It's an experimental project with the goal of providing a long-term energy-efficient scrypt-based crypto-currency. You're using this software with no guarantees or warranty of any kind. Use it at your own risk! Built on the foundations of Bitcoin, Litecoin, PeerCoin, NovaCoin, CraveProject, Dash Masternodes XUVCoin, BATA, and Crypostle to help further advance the field of crypto-currency.

Adjustments based on network hashrate, previous block difficulty simulating real bullion mining: If the difficulty rate is low; using excessive work to produce low value blocks does not yield large return rates. When the ratio of difficulty adjusts and the network hashrate remains constant or declines: The reward per block will reach the maximum level, thus mining becomes very profitable.

This algorithm is intended to discourage >51% attacks, or malicous miners. It will also act as an automatic inflation adjustment based on network conditions.

Hello Everyone,

There is always a reason for a premine... We created Bank Society Coin as a next generation coin.
However, it was also created to rescue the BankNotes coin holders, as the coin died leaving everyone
holding coins worth nothing.

The premine had to be sufficient to cover the swap of Banknotes coins into SOCI.

This is the only reason for the premine, please do not judge us by the actions of other
more dubious coin creations.

Only the first 100 blocks were premined.

Most of these blocks were Proof of Stake mined with Masternodes. I think that only around 25k blocks
have been mined by Proof of Work miners.

Bank Society is not restricted to 750k PoW blocks this may be changed very easily. Especially, as the society
coin generates far more blocks than imagined with PoS Staking and Masternode rewards ( 75% from staking ).

Yes we would like another mining pool, this provides choice for our miners.

I cannot get the daemon compiled .... I'm running on Centos 7, I've been compiling coins for over a year now and never had this problem before .... complaining about gmp..., I had to use -std=c++11 .... still no luck.
Anyone else having problems with compiling and the solution?

xCXXFLAGS= -std=c++11 ( add to front )
Then you need to perform
make -f makefile.unix clean
Then
make -f makefile.unix
