Dear Bitcointalk friends,

                                      Here I am uploading millions of valid Bitcoin address and corresponding private keys for development purpose,education purpose,fun and luck  Smiley.
There are lot of websites and users those who sells Bitcoin address and corresponding private keys. All these are just scams for fooling newbies. Do not invest anything to purchase these types of lists and private key making software's. Please understand that Bitcoin key space is very huge . Generating 2 same Bitcoin address is possible, but for that you must be very very very lucky.

I am uploading files in .xlsx format. Each file contains 1 Million Bitcoin address and corresponding private keys. I don't know the balances of all these addresses.I am just generating and uploading . It will take years to check the balances of all these addresses.

Do not use web wallet and mobile wallet for large amount of coins.
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

We all know that it is not easy to steal the private key. There are millions of Bitcoins that have been lost so far, it would be more logical to try them out (at least you will not commit a crime). I found an article about the possibility :

This would also suggest that even with a successful key... There is no guarantee that there will be a balance...

There are no bitcoin users that will listen to you. We are aware that we can lose our money any wrong move. There are now many bitcoins that have hacked and that's the bitcoin users are becoming more careful than before. Your wallet that you are promoting is not advisable to use.

I'm not sure this can be counted as stealing. He's just uploading 1 million keys that he generates randomly (well sure, there's a possibility it was used before but the potential is so small). We can do the same thing, and we might not even comes to the same list of addresses.

But I don't know why would people use this though, if they want to learn about private key and addresses, there's no need to generates that many.

Around 2 hours

holly shit, then your code must be horrible. generating 1 million private keys should not take more than a minute or so. and that's just if you use CPU not GPU, with a GPU it can be a lot higher than that. and that is based on my code written in C# which is a managed language and slow, yours seem to be in C so it shouldn't take about 30 seconds!

Generating 2 same Bitcoin address is possible, but for that you must be very very very lucky.

So what service are you doing for the community by generating millions of Bitcoin addresses and their private keys? You will definitely not generate any Bitcoin address that contains any coins, because the math and numbers makes that impossible.  Tongue

These Bitcoin address and private keys can also not be used by anyone, because it was exposed to the internet. So what is the use of doing this, if it has no value to the community?

People should just generate their own Bitcoin address and be done with that.  Roll Eyes

In order to make guessing bitcoin wallets and keys worth while one has to own a supercomputer that is billions of times quicker than the current fastest super computer. I'd say it's safe, until the aliens arrive Cheesy

I don't see point of this unless you're trying vulnerability of Bitcoin cryptography or address generation. Even LBC which generate at least 8 billion and AFAIK they only found few addresses with bitcoin.

Not when one found vulnerability of PRNG/CSPRNG within a wallet

Certainly, it will be a greater disappointment. In a short time you crack the private key which is needed 51 billion year, but balance is huge ''0''.
That is why I found this calculation and shared it so that those who have such an idea do not bother to do so.

you can't just say you are doing something while everything else including your actions are telling the exact opposite!

if you wanted to "increase awareness" then there was no point in creating those .xlsx files and there was certainly no point in creating that github repository either. all you had to do was to simply open up a topic and clearly explain what is going on and why it is a scam!

it won't take more than 1hrs if you newbi with electrum wallet (import addresses is faster)

in 1 hrs you can easily generate millions of addresses not just 1M or 2M (all format)

It is not impossible in fact you could use a site like keys.lol and find 2 in 10 minutes. But then again you could also spend a thousand year going page to page and not ever find a key. Your odds are way better if you were to just solo mine bitcoin. I have an Antminer S3 and it gets around 450 GH/s or 450,000,000,000 guesses a second. I would rather solo mine with that then EVER waist my time trying to find someone elses key. Atleast when you did that, it would be the equivalence of playing the lottery every 10 minutes. I have read that there is software created that uses your CPU's power to try new keys. The stronger the CPU the better.  But even with the best hardware out there your odds are like 2>256. So basically it is PRACTILY impossible!

why don't you stop posting such unethical things on the forum?

Unethical would be if money was stolen but that is not what is happening here. The chance of a private key collision is mostly unheard of and will probably only happen a couple of times in the history of Bitcoin and posting public private keys with nothing in them and has never had anything in them will probably not be a problem.

Can i get a link to your code and if it generates just pvk or addresses as well.
How long time did it take to generate 1 million keys?

Around 2 hours

holly shit, then your code must be horrible. generating 1 million private keys should not take more than a minute or so. and that's just if you use CPU not GPU, with a GPU it can be a lot higher than that. and that is based on my code written in C# which is a managed language and slow, yours seem to be in C so it shouldn't take about 30 seconds!

Generating 2 same Bitcoin address is possible, but for that you must be very very very lucky.

Not so sure how you are able to generate that huge number of private addresses and keys but I don't know if this is ethical or not. You are literally stealing from someone alive or dead. And without proper information for the whereabouts of the real owner how can we be sure that the addresses in here are clean or at the very least not hacked? Thank you so much for the offer and I think you have a very great talent, but we also wanna make sure that talent is being put to good use for the right thing.

This eases my mind a bit, knowing that with opening an address I haven't touched at all, I do not take someone else's livelihood.
