So, you searched through "google files" and found some pictures of  few criminals, then you hacked their site and uploaded the pictures there and before they have any chance to find out and restore the situation, you made this topic here and accused them of being a scam!
Makes sense! I take it as a confession, shame on you. Angry

We all are laughing at you and how desperate you are to find someone to blame.

Rule number 1: Scammers will always blame someone else for their mistakes.
My mistake? What mistake you mean? I'm refuting your scam acquisition against a third party, because I'm aware of your motivations and can't stand such actions in this forum. It is not a blog, it is a discussion forum and when you start a topic here members have rights to argue against you, on what basis you accuse me of doing anything wrong?

They are not an ICO, neither they launch a new coin, they don't collect any funds of any form of anybody, their only fault was leaving some ports open on their site, letting junior hackers to upload some pictures over there and they have removed the pictures as soon as they've been informed.

This is just suspiciously interesting that you and your friends have managed to track down all the pictures to their criminal records in few hours to run this ridiculous witch hunt.

Now you are accusing me of being a partner or something of the project because I don't buy your false claims and do what I have a right to do: express myself.

You better back-off herer,  your witch hunt is a failed project now.

People have been searching for fake team members for a while now.  Maybe you are just upset with yourself for not knowing that picture/photo recognition was possible on the internet.
Now, you must blame someone else, such as  "junior hackers" for hacking some scammer computer to upload pictures, just to make you feel better. Cheesy

If the hacking case is true, investors should be even more skeptical about investing in this project, if your controls are so weak that allow a "junior hacker" to gain control/access to the website.

And as you said,  it is a discussion forum, and we don't need to discuss with you,  you are not a member of the team, right?

Picture recognition doesn't justify all you've done, I don't buy your explanation. You've spotted all the uploaded pictures like in a glance!

Why should I blame anybody to feel better? The only thing I feel bad about is your reckless and irresponsible actions to make Ethereum establishment happy. It is really sick.

Quote
If the hacking case is true, investors should be even more skeptical about investing in this project, if your controls are so weak that allow a "junior hacker" to gain control/access to the website.
Now it is about your accused to be an amateure? I don't reject your claim, but amateurism is a consequence of low investment. So, don't worry about investors to be attracted to them, there has never been such a threat, you are wasting your time and energy and ours.

Quote
And as you said,  it is a discussion forum, and we don't need to discuss with you,  you are not a member of the team, right?
I don't have to be accused directly or as a member of an accused entity or to have any stakes in it to express my take on such claims. Stop terrorizing me and trying to shut me down.
I don't care whether you understand or not the meaning of this words:
"I'm not supporting/have no plan to support this project not because I think/believe/suspect it is/may be a scam but because it is immature and is a rush". Period.

It is not a scam and this accusation is irrelevant, because it is neither an ICO nor a brand new coin. It is just a fork!

You mean to tell me that forks can't be scams? Especially ones with brand new websites, no track record and fake team members?

I got one more reasonable scenario, hypothetical but still more reasonable:
You (or your fiends) hacked their site because they are poor and have hired a cheap site manager. You are the real scammer, probably a shill of Ethereum Foundation and a fan of Vitalik the superstar.

Please prove me wrong or I'd send you a negative feedback and will fight against you to ashes, tell us how did you make it?

You guys penetrated to their site manager laptop and uploaded the pictures. You were aware of the time zone and knew the poor operator is slept and as soon as he wakes up he will check and remove the pictures, so you had no choice other than what you did, posting this accusation allegation. Right

So, you searched through "google files" and found some pictures of  few criminals, then you hacked their site and uploaded the pictures there and before they have any chance to find out and restore the situation, you made this topic here and accused them of being a scam!
Makes sense! I take it as a confession, shame on you. Angry

their only fault was leaving some ports open on their site, letting junior hackers to upload some pictures over there and they have removed the pictures as soon as they've been informed.

If you have any proofs that ICOEthics and tvplus006 have indeed hacked, lied and falsely accused Ethereum ProgPoW to be a scam project, please make a topic in Reputation. If I were you, I would be very careful when making such bold statements.

You mean to tell me that forks can't be scams? Especially ones with brand new websites, no track record and fake team members?
Sure! One could choose not to mine on their chain or trade the forked coin, ... (like me, for now)
One could disagree with such emotional reactions they are showing to what they are not happy with (like me)
But nobody is allowed to call them scammers, it is a very serious and unfair accusation. I'm specially agitated because of the fact that the accused people are poor and have not enough resources to run a fake campaign in favor of themselves and against their rivals.

To understand why I'm angry: I have been there!
When months ago,  Bitmain announced its ASIC Eth miner, E3 and Ethereum idol, Vitalik Buterin refused to take care of the promised ASIC resistance and called it a "distraction" I was like getting mad, started a topic in altcoins and screamed at him and threatened to fork , ... Later I decided to ignore the whole community instead and stick with bitcoin ecosystem because Ethereum code base was really fucked up and you needed like 10-20 professionals to keep it alive, a lot of mess had to be cleaned up.
And it was not end of the story you needed to deal with shills and mercenary writers who are hired by his foundation to make ethereum great! A simple math proved it to be a >250K$ project which I wasn't able to afford and forking ethereum had no ROI to discuss it with potential investors.

Now somebody has experienced the same feelings just like me  and he has chosen to act differently, he got money/investors? I don't know. But I don't like brutal accusations made against him here, I wish success for him and I'm sorry not having enough resources and can't afford costs and risks involved in joining him.

Seriously? Making real, bold accusations against poor people is just easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy because they don't have a load voice but suggesting hypothetical scenarios about implanting fake evidence or taking advantage of such evidence is kinda "dangerous" and I need to be "carefull"? Why? Because the  adversaries have backup?  Cheesy

Whether you choose to participate or not in their project, how much money they have and what kind of campaigns they can afford does not make them less shady.

But nobody is allowed to call them scammers, it is a very serious and unfair accusation.
You're wrong, everyone is free to make accusations as long as there is evidence to support it, regardless of ICOs, new projects or simply forks. Ethereum Classic Vision was just a hard fork...Facts are, they have fake photos uploaded onto their website.

To understand why I'm angry
No one cares why you are angry. Find another topic to discuss Vitalik and Ethereum.

suggesting hypothetical scenarios
I hope you are only presenting hypotheses here, and not trying to threaten anyone with negative feedback if they don't prove they're not Ethereum shills, Vitalik fans, and last but not least that they hacked and plant evidence solely to frame Ethereum ProgPoW.

You (or your fiends) hacked their site because they are poor and have hired a cheap site manager. You are the real scammer, probably a shill of Ethereum Foundation and a fan of Vitalik the superstar.

Sure it does! What do you mean by shady? You mean weak PR?

I know some people feel respect just for corporates and riches but it would be a shame if they could manage to impose their retarded culture in this community. In their culture poors and amateurs are "shady" because they can't afford buying tons of lamps and pay for the electricity to illuminate their house for being  seen from the ISS, 250 miles away.

Nop, you are wrong! Evidence should be solid and it should be used thoughtfully and with caution and responsibility. Besides there should be something at stake, something to scam. should start by soft warnings and it is not fair to officially accuse people of scam without strong enough proofs.

Ethereum Classic Vision was not a hard fork they were offering tokens in exchange for eth, the whole business model was scam and they had tones of fake twitter accounts, ...
Quote
Just to confirm this is definitely a scam. I have had 131 Eth stolen from me. The website https://ethereumcv.io/ looks legit and even has a roadmap and white paper. They direct you to their online wallet https://etcv-wallet.com/ to claim/view your ETVC coins where they steal your private keys and move your Eth on.
This is essentially an Ico not a hard fork.

The accused guys have no such scheme, have explicitly denounced any schemes like that, they even haven't announced a donation address, everything is opensource and forked from main ethereum code base, ...

Quote

This is even worse than ICO. It is a hard fork with huge PREMINE. Just like Bitcoin Gold scam. If exchanges will accept this shit,  "Developers" will drop their bags (premine) and disappear... Cash grabber machine, but very poorly made, (That dudes were in such hurry to grab free money, that they uploaded photos of criminals on their website, hopping that nobody will search for that kind of dudes) No exchange will list that shit after seeing this thread. Many thanks to OP for exposing that idiots.

As I said before, if someone does not like some project then that person should look for another project, but be creating shitcoin is the worst way... I agree that the project is scam, if OP had any noble intentions, he will take a lot of time to do research and  will create a good project that would benefit the community

This is even worse than ICO. It is a hard fork with huge PREMINE.
There is no premine, stop spreading lies about these poor guys, they are not scammers, they are just miners that want to adopt a new PoW algorithm.

A hard fork is just a change in consensus  that results in a chain-split:
The forked nodes retain their commitment to old chain up to the fork point and continue stacking up their own blocks on it instead of what legacy nodes confirm and follow. We have intentional and unintentional hard forks.

Accusing intentional hard forks of being a scam is what establishments/whales in cryptocurrencies do for several reasons which is a void and meaningless practice for them and a violation of basic rights of people: forking off from the mainstream. I think institutions and individuals behind such accusations are the real scammers.

Any person or group of persons have a basic right to do a hard fork as far as they are not manipulating the  historical data or forging weird rules against the ignorant people who may join later.

Accusations against such legitimate hard forks are FUD and deserves zero attention.

Bitcoin gold was not a hard fork, they took an snapshot of the bitcoin UTXO, added their pre-mined coins (which was not too much by the way) and used to start a fresh blockchain, it was a new coin. They forked from the source code as a bitcoin clone but not from the blockchain.

I have reasons to believe, that aliashraf is a part of this scam. Nobody with clear mind, who has nothing to do with this "project" will defend such scam. But our lovely "poor guys defender" aliashraf is doing that in this thread 24/7. I'm sending this dude to my ignore list.

I have one solid reason that @mosprognoz is an ignorant person who has no clue about what he is talking about: his recent shitty post and my thoughtful reply, above.  Wink

Anyway, shills are now free to claim their bounties and rewards, the poor guy has retracted completely, deleting all the resources. tweets, ... you made it  Grin

Happy now? I invested $$$ on this "scammy hard-fork" (WTF?) and you stupid shills just made me bankrupt. What should I do now?  Grin Grin

^ You are absolutely right, they are gone. What a surprise, isn't it?

Can we get more of your "hypothetical scenarios" as to why they are gone? Maybe we hacked them and deleted everything. Lips sealed

Too bad you have to find another thread now and vent about Ethereum and their supreme leader, your "thoughtful" completely cuckoo for cocoa puffs replies will be missed.

My theory:
They backed-off because they have realized what a cesspool cryptocurrency is because of its monetary nature. I suppose they are now trying to get some MONEY and hire more professional PR team to avoid witch hunts and scam accusations that are managed by whales and establishments for eventually being run by shills like you  Huh

Nice, that is good news.

As far as that investor that kept defending the scammer, we now know that he had an agenda, maybe he should join those "poor people" and sing kumbaya together.
This is the confession below:

Happy now? I invested $$$ on this "scammy hard-fork" (WTF?) and you stupid shills just made me bankrupt. What should I do now?
