Netflix to make a documentary about the altcoin side of crypto

This is going to be interesting. I can sort of already guess what scenes are going to be shown.

1. Person X invested in some altcoins at the beginning of 2017.
2. Person X earned huge amounts of money due to the bull run.
3. Person X invested a lot more in the end of 2017.
4. As the price continues to go down, person X bought a lot of dips.
5. Now in 2019, person X is now financially screwed.

You described the faith of new traders who joined after June 2017. The same story can be applied to stock market booms and a crypto market is just a tool for average people for getting rich quickly. Modifications can make the story more interesting: A person who bought during ATH in 2017 divorced and he is on the last step before attempting to suicide.

I hope it will be a documentary with real facts, showing both good and bad things about it. Not just some propaganda movie

Better to see a lot of good side compared to the bad sides because it can help to grow the bitcoin value if the netflix create docimentary about bitcoin and yes they need to document the real and facts information and they need to study what is good puposes of having bitcoin before they release to the netflix because once they releass it they have big effect on us if it's either bad or good the only happen to the bitcoin because netflix now is popular.

Netflix has been characterized by making high quality documentaries, I only hope that it shows truthful information, that shows the reality, not the facts that we all know, like the bull run of 207-2018, many speculators and investors of the world of cryptocurrencies expect much More motivation for the market, a good documentary could awaken that feeling.

well, I am patiently waiting to see this documentary but 2020 is such a long time to wait. Whatever it is they want to put in that documentary, I believe is nothing new as we all know what is currently happening in the crypto space

i think this can go either way. it depends mainly on how realistic the people making this documentary are and how important facts are for them compared to unrealistic hype. if thy get caught up in the advertisement and the hype we may end up seeing a misleading documentary instead.

i also hope they don't focus ONLY on price! there is a lot more to altcoins than just price despite what 99% of the pump and dump ones are showing us.

We really need to introduce the idea and explain it realistically
But the focus only on prices will be lack of value of the film
And has a negative impact on encryption as a whole.

That's the point, only if they will make a reasonable documentary about altcoin in two phase of it existence. Though i have seen some of their documentary on other stuff and must say that, they are good in the two phase of any documentary. Hope they do no harm to the cryptocurrency because if they do it will cause more downfall of the current market bear.

At first before they start creating films, why don't they accept bitcoin? If it become subject of their producers and they introduced it to people vial documentary film, why not to accept it? Well, let's forget it.
It's still good they are interedted in crypto world and create films but wish to see scifi movie where bitcoin is used, would be great to see movies where hackers use bitcoin instead of cards, let's develop a little bit and use future technologies.

Why would it take over a year for them to create a documentary? are they waiting for something that is missing in their documentary? Maybe they are waiting for Bitcoin to reach a million each just as predicted by Mcafee or they want to show Mcfee eating his dick in national tv, that will make a great sell for that documentary.

It would be good if they can be released TV series on whats on happening right now on the crypto world. But the documentary is still good because we can learn useful knowledge about altcoins. By the way, the blogger made a little mistake, He calls Bitcoin an altcoin.

I doubt that this film will be able to somehow change the situation on the cryptocurrency market. But I really believe in the growth of Bitcoin in 2021.
