Doubt by the time Novemeber comes around Texas is still blue. People right now only really care about the Coronavirus and they're not thinking of much else, that'll tighten come election time.

Right, but for a Republican to have any shot at the Presidency, you need to win Texas by at least 10. A smaller margin than that and you can pretty much extrapolate the voter turn out to other states and conclude there isn't enough to get the plurality in places like Florida, Ohio, Wisconsin, ect.

Trump won Texas by about ~9 in 2016 and that race was about as close as it gets looking at states like Florida, Michigan, and Wisconsin where Trump barely won.

TO state the obvious, "Winning Texas by less than 10" is not the same as "Texas turning blue."

Yes but look beyond this election cycle. It doesn't have to happen this time around, but when polls have Trump up +1, or even down -5 to Biden, that suggests either people really do not like Trump, or that the state is turning more on the blue side.

More and more Californians are moving out of their state, and Texas is becoming one of the most popular spots. They are bringing over their voting habits. If trends keep up, you'll see more blue voters move to Texas.

Democrats are adamant on having mail in voting but the confusion and fraud has started to breed chaos yet still the media would have you believe there is no widespread voter fraud.

This is an attempt at proving a negative. How can you claim there is no voter fraud if you haven't investigated literally every vote? It just isn't possible. But considering we have ample evidence of voter fraud it stands to reason there is a lot more that does not get caught especially with mail in ballots.

Democrats and the far left seem bent on having an insecure system at a time when they also complain about voter manipulation from Russia and other countries.

Republicans on the other hand don't seem to be making a strong enough stand to resist, other than Trump.

That could happen only if Trump's wish comes true and coronavirus magically disappears... which it shows no signs of doing. And while he can ignore people dying quietly, it will be harder to ignore overflowing hospitals in Florida, which happens to be a must-win state for Trump.

You're most likely right on this to a certain extent.

Though I do think that the polls as of right now aren't based on policy or even if people like Biden vs Trump, it's more of just a response to Corona while the election is still pretty far away. My point is that as the election gets closer and closer, the election is going to be more about Biden vs Trump (debates, interviews, etc) then it is about one individual item.

Corona may and most likely will still be the elephant in the room come November. But voters will want more, at lets that's my view.

Heh, got it. Just wanted to make sure that we weren't going to attack Biden for something that totally is out of his hands and is totally not his fault.

Totally looks really bad on Twitter though. I'm assuming there was some sort of bribe or just con job on the twitter employees (as ya know, you cant always trust Twitters statement that they're putting out directly)

But yes, this shows that public officials and those with larger followings need more protections on their account, and employees of the platform need less control of posting on these peoples accounts and such. Hopefully changes will be in the works.

Pretty sure they don't get along that well because Harris competently lit up Biden on the debate stage, and was one of the reasons that his campaign almost failed. She's seen (inside some circles) as too ambitious and is going to be gunning for her own Presidential bid in 2024 instead of caring about being a loyal advisor to Biden.

Biden is asking for the same amount of loyalty from his VP pick as he had for Obama.

I know that most of us (and most of the media) have said that Biden is only going to be a one term President if he wins in November, but he still could run for reelection even if he's older. He just has to still have his sanity and keep himself under control.

The Nat Sec Adviser (Susan Rice) was involved in the investigation into the incoming Nat Sec Advisor (Flynn) who, among other things, failed to register as a foreign agent of Turkey then lied about it on the forms when he did - also lied to the VP and Press Sec (who repeated it to the country) about his talks with Russia before Trump took office.  

Only a really shitty Nat Sec Adviser would not be involved.
