Gaining quick profits or keep holding?

If you want to get your money just sell it but Im a trader too and what coin you have I have too and I will hold my coins in my wallet until I reach my target before I sell it because market will rise more for sure in the next few months so you will sure that you gain more money if you are choosing to hold instead of sellung coins.

Keep holding is the most bad strategy for this time after holding them in a couple of months the price of altcoins get dump if the price of it get highing so its hard to predict what will gonna happened. If yoy are gonna hold altcoins for long term.

Holding is also a choice. But, I would prefer to trade instead of holding. Because, we are already in a state of uncertainty, and holding can yield result after years. If you have enough experience, try to evaluate better chances.

In as much as holding is good.... personally, I think it will make logical sense if you sell for quick profit as soon as you are satisfied with the price position of the coin.
Cryptocurrency market is highly unpredictable and so no one would be able to  if the stability of the market will continue for a month etc.
The best strategy is taking profit and then positioning yourself to buy back when the price dips.

I do prefer to choose quick profit, even I get 2% profit. Market nowaday is slow movement. If you will take swing or long term its ok, but you must have good knowing about reversal technical. Reversal technic is good tactic right now.

You have a point too. Most of the traders today are into short term trading because of the aim of making profits consistently even if its just a small one. But remember doing day trading is a very risky one so make sure you know how to drive the risks. But if you want to make huge profit in this market,wait for a long time through holding your coins and wait for a high price increase to sell your coins.

Yes bull run already started for altcoin,  i just surprised with one of altcoin that is BCDN pumping up to 4000% in less than amonth,  and this good sign to trigger other altcoin to pump as well.  Many trader will FOMO and don't  want to miss this trend and more alot of money will enter in to crypyo market.

Well, that is right. Altcoins are too risky to invest especially if you don't know how potential it is. Most altcoins are in pump and dump by their dev so it is difficult to hold for a long term. Avoiding risk if you know about you are holding for whether that is good to hold or not. Gaining quick profit on trading altcoins and keep holding on bitcoin which is top of my priority as an investment.

For me, and I think, for many as well, I would rather suggest for you to gain quick profits rather than holding, but an exception to that principle is if you are planning to hold on to Bitcoins or other popular altcoins that have better chances of gaining as compared to those newer ones in the market. I would say that it would be better to aspire for quick gains because, at the very least, you 'gained' something as an investor rather than risking it all for a long term one but is filled with a dark cloud of uncertainty on its path.

I have read many analysis and articles about the current happening in the cryptocurrencies market.  Majority of the speculators are saying that the bear market is over and we have resume the bullish trend.  I do agree with them too and if that is the current position of things it means the bullish trend has resume and we would do ourself good by keep holding.  However,  if you are a day trader it is important you began selling when the market pump and buy when it dump on a daily basis in other to be able to make profits from the cryptocurrencies market.  If you don't know how to day trade then keep holding and when bitcoin recover and grown then you can sell.

Its depend of what kind of altcoin do you hold for long run some altcoin has a potential to shine in the market and theres an altcoin that turn to shitcoin after a months.
For me its better to gaining quickly to avoid some bad event will happen to bitcoin in the near future, if you gain quicky a 10x a day this is good than to hold your altcoin that have no assurance it  will pump up.

It depends on your interpretation. If you think that you have now the right percentage or ROI then you should get the profit. Nobody can dictate you in trading. It's only you and the market. But for me, I think that I'll just keep on holding since bitcoin reached 5000 dollars.

The OP interpretation was about the best strategy which he can apply to make reasonable profit from the recent surge in price of the market which I will advice him to use the holding half of his coin as backup while he use the other part for short term form of trading in other for him not to miss the opportunity cause the surge in price is still not guarantee that the bullish market have totally arrive.

It is a choice that both options are only to get a quick profit or keep holding and both have a side of luck or not, it depends on what happens to the next market. When you make a choice to keep holding, then the market falls then that's where you're unlucky and have to wait longer. But when you make a choice to immediately sell and then the market continues to increase higher, then that is not a loss or a unlucky because you can still take advantage of that moment to buy if you still have high confidence prices will skyrocket.

I prefer holding and making profits when the market is pumped.
I stick with the old concept of buying low and selling high.
But I don't actually do day trading.

Holding is okay but requires a lot of patience. We are looking at holding for 6-7 years. That is when you can get meaningful profits for the time you spent waiting. But holding for 2 to 3 years is kind of useless IMO.

If you have a big portfolio... I think getting short gains should be good especially if you are an active trader

I am a big fan of holding and yes, i still earn with that strategy. Bitcoin's value has started to increase and now is the time of the holders to get profit. I have a lot of patience though so it fits me well.

Depends on what kind of risk taker are you. We all know how volatile cryptocurrency is so if you are a risk taker then keep on holding but question is until when do you plan to hold to gain profits. That's the part where you need to place a goal in mind, do you sell when you reached 10%, 20%, 30% and once you reached your goal, sell right away, being greedy might lead to more troubles like falling into a trap.
