IK, that's why I only play when the jackpot is at a record high. Since I always only buy 1 ticket at a time the chance remains the same for me but at least the prize is larger. I think there is absolutely no fun in such activity. Buying a ticket, is in a way very passive process. There is no actual gambling emotions involved. Most of people are doing it automatically, on their way to a grocery. I agree with you. There was a time my mother used to buy lottery tickets really often, not that many though but often enough. I didn't see that see ever won anything out of it.

I believe that time and money can be better spent learning a new skill that will help you to make more money. It might not be so many millions like that Jackpot but you will certainly get money out of it.

You might be right with what you said but I have read on this forum that the chance of winning in gambling is higher than been a bitcoin solo miner. The number one reason? The possibility of winning. I would rather play dice or other luck-based games than gamble my money on the lottery.
