The pitch is filled with cracks which is why getting 180+ won't be easy which is why anything close to 160 would be competitive in my opinion. At present, they are playing slowly and they may be able to reach 160 if they accelerate from here on out.

Delhi is looking good so far. Both openers are playing comfortably. SRH needs to bowl cleverly so that the batsmen struggles. Right now things are looking easy for DC.

Chances are Delhi win the match easily. If Vijay Shankar could play some more balls, thinf would have been different. Once gain it's proved that Williamson should not be in the squad, IMO. He is a trash, plays slower innings all the time.

I disagree about Williamson, he is a world class player but in this season the injury did not allow him to shine. Last if SRH achieved anything then it was for him. He did not do that bad in the few matches this year to but yes it was not up to the mark.

DC are looking furious. They may win this match very easily.

Yeah, I thought some more drama will be there but Keemo Paul hit the boundary. However, it was an enjoyable match. Pant played a brilliant innings though he missed the century.

Well I am dissipated with Pant. He needs to be more responsible. There were no need for that big shot on the air. For him DC were almost losing. I also did not like him to give strike to Rutherford in one over. In the last ball he could have settle with a single but he took double and let Rutherford to bet in the next over when Rutherford had played only few balls. Pant was a set batsman then.

Anyway, nothing matters now. DC deserves the win.

It was nice script, quite a thriller match. both team had their chances to win a game in during second inning of the game.

Good inning from Prithvi and Pant and they played beautiful tonight, having said that Pant showed once again that why he's not in the World cup squad. throwing away wicket on crucial timing. it was so easy 5 runs in 7 balls and he went for glory shot. he need to finish the game for his team, there was no need to go for aerial shot.

Good for DC that tailenders successed this time.

Pant is a good batsman but his judgements based on the match situations are too bad. He needs to learn from Dhoni. May be Dhoni can coach him how to control emotions and calculate. Pant has huge potential but just needs some assistance to be more effective for Indian squad.

He's still young so I can only hope that he will improve from here. I am big supporter of this guy but in White ball cricket he disappoint me most of the times. because the way he gets out every time in every match is like a crime.

He should get help from Dhoni and Dravid. especially go back to basic with the help of Rahul Dravid. he was the first guy who rooted for Pant in the start.

Pant is quite effective, but yes he needs some shaping to end up being a finisher every time the team needs him. He is a finisher but needs more to learn and take the pressure efficiently.
The game was quite enjoyable, it was he who took it this far and I believe Delhi did a great job. Now the CSK and DC match will be a good game to watch.

For the upcoming game, I will say DC will win and meet MI in the finals.

I don't think shot selection by Pant was wrong at all. He took risk against Bhuvi earlier that over and played same shot and got 6. So he tried the same shot again but his hands didn't go well with bat and missed the timing. Now imagine if he played defensively then and didn't go for sixes, DC had to make 12 of 12. With Keemo Paul on the other side who was hardly able to touch the ball at all, do you think DC could win this one with singles?
It was only due to Pant's six in 19th over that DC was able to complete the match with tailenders. He is masterclass and there is nothing wrong with his attacking game when he is playing in T-20s. Well, he do need some maturity for playing ODIs.

This is what many posters failed to mention. That Thampi over basically screwed SRH completely and it was the final nail in the coffin. As usual, DC collapsed like dominoes when 14 runs were required from 14 balls.

I have observed some of the worst bowlers of this season were from SRH(Thampi, Kaul and Sharma) who were the primary reasons behind SRH losing, but still ended up qualifying.

Yup I think the same , although CSK haven't been up to mark this season I feel like it will be MI v CSK in finals and 50/50 on who will win the trophy.
I hope Watson plays well in the next match , it will make it easy for CSK then to win.
