Shardul just lost that wicket. Now 4 wickets gone. Pollard is playing now and I always get scared of him. If he doesn't get out soon, he can hit big 6s and make the score go above 180.

The chances is very low to score above 160 however, there's still Ishan Kishan, Pollard and Hardik yet to out. The match is going on Chennai unless a big hit comes from any of this three.

Kishan gone just now. So now MI is depending on Hardik panday and pollard. Obviously  Good job by Imran tahir. Hope score will touch around 170 runs. Lets see what will happen.

Only 149, such a low score on final match. MI bowlers have to do outstanding performance if they want to keep MI's hope. I doubt they will be able since the target is too low.

Yup. This looks like CSKs game all the way unless MI bowls extremely well which is difficult on a batting pitch. Nothing surprising about any of this. This is really exciting!

MI hasn't been great on bowling as compared to they were batting. It's a lost game for MI with their wrong descision they will not just lose the title but also the winning streak against CSK and record performance against CSK in the finals and CSK would be undoubtedly the best team in IPL history even with their two years ban.

CSK requires 69 in 45 balls and have 7 wickets in hand . Dhoni and Watson are on crease and if both stays till next 3-4 overs , CSK will win the match comfortable in the end and clinch the trophy for the 4th time in the IPL season .

And for the first time, the Mumbai Indians are ahead in the match. It was a really close call and Nigel Llong took almost 5 minutes to finalize the decision. But in the end I think he got it right. The CSK lower middle order is not that weak, but still I would say that MI is having the advantage now. This one is going to be a real nail biter!!

Mumbai won by 1 run. Watch a match. Malinga gave a lot of run in his previous 3 overs and I thought MI going to lose but he did it possible. Bumrah too did extra ordinary at 19th over.

This match was full of crazy twists and turns. But I don't think that any of the previous edition finals were as exciting as this one. This one was classic..... Two runs needed of the final ball, and the experienced Malinga delivers an unplayable one... Shardul Thakur was completely helpless and the umpire (Nitin Menon) didn't made any mistake.

I'm so sad that CSK lost and more sad that they lost by one damn run. But nevertheless, Jio aka MI won. Congrats to the team and supporters. Just wish that if Dhoni had not got run out, CSK still had a chance.

I don't believe it's possible in this scale but the match looks like a fixing in many ways. There are disputable descision by the umpire. Many people did lose their bet on live betting as CSK was nearing a win. I had always supported MI against CSK but can't decide how to explain yesterday's match.

Match fixing is always a major issue with cricket matches... but I am not sure whether there was any involvement of the bookies yesterday. There were too many dropped catches during the second innings. And the simple catch dropped by Quinton de Cock was the most suspicious one. Also, the run-out of Watson looked suspicious for me. He was not even trying to get back.... but that may be due to fatigue and exhaustion. Anyway, it was a very entertaining match that we had yesterday.

At the last over, everyone was thinking CSK was going to win, so did I and I was counting that I will get 0.5 margin point with my correct pick point 1 meaning I will get 1.50 points and that will make me to lead the leader board LOL

But that last ball from Malinga snitched the trophy from CSK also my hope to lead the point table on the pool LOL (Also I had this outright bet @4.85 from the very beginning that CSK will be the champion and lost that too LOL)

This was easily the most spectacular finale I have ever witnessed in an IPL season and I was shocked to see the trophy being passed around several times between the teams through out the match.

I thought that CSK would easily win this one, but they botched it thanks to their run outs and the controversial decisions. Hats off to MI to becoming the most successful team in the IPL franchise with 4 freaking wins. Well deserved indeed. The best IPL season ever.

What a match it was where on the last ball the result was known and full chance of having the super over was on . But finally the last all wicket changed the game for CSK and Mi came back strongly the way CSK has started their innings . David Warner who did not played full matches yet is the Orange cap winner with highest runs.

The umpiring in this edition of IPL was downright horrible. They need to really improve in the future seasons. Examples in final match:

- 100% wide ball given not a wide : Pollard lost it
- From one angle, MSD looked out. Another angle suggested he was not out which is why the benefit of doubt should have gone to MSD. Horrible decision by the guy who kicked down a door after his argument with Virat : Nigel Llong etc

I don't know whether money was involved or not. But the Indian umpire who oversaw the match yesterday (Nitin Menon) had an excellent tournament. He was correct on 99% of the occasions and he is one of the world's best.

Shane Watson's run out was unnecessary, but you can't blame the umpire for that. Anyway, I have a feeling that it didn't did much damage to CSK, as he was a bit slow with his batting. The last ball LBW was a perfect decision and the hawkeye confirmed it.

Doni's run out was also a good decision. It was Nigel Llong who have him out, and IMO it was one of the best decisions in this edition of the IPL. From the side angle, when the bails were off no part of the bat was behind the white line.

Here is my prediction for the playoffs and finals:

Qualifier 1: MI vs CSK: MI win, since CSK is not in great form
Eliminator: DC vs SRH: Win for DC
Qualifier 2: DC vs CSK: Win for DC

Finals: DC vs MI: MI wins the tournament.

That's less likely to be happened. I guese MI and CSK will play the final match. MI will win the qualifier 1 and CSK will olay against probably DC.
The chances of winning for MI in the final is also high since they are having quite decent performance.

I didn't bet other than the final match, although MI almost lost the match. Lucky that they win. It was a great tournament for them.
