Thanks for the reminder bhai, i was about to do the same but was waiting for auction to get over. Its schedule from 2nd April so yeah we do have fair amount of time.

I believe we'll have the pool and i think @Royse777 would make his comeback as organiser.

Long time. Thank god that you mentioned or I would not get any update.

Unfortunately, I got busy elsewhere as you can see from last few months activities. Like last time I would request JSRAW to take it over from me. You do not need to ask me for anything. Take care of this section as it is yours. It was an honor hosting events here. I still have the urge to hosts events but my time is limited to be honest, sorry.

Let me know the event link and fees once you figure out. I will join as a participants in the pool.

Edit: Showered some smerit to some regulars (who are in need of merit to rank up by the way) in the section as a reward for being consistent in the section. Please don't judge the posts they received merit. These are for overall contribution in the community.

Didn't know IPL 2022 was just 2 months away. Very excited for this particular edition due to all the transfers, new teams etc making it more competitive overall. Had fun duking it out with you last season and am looking forward to this year's pool.

Thanks for hosting these pools in place of Royse. I'm fine either way(Sponsor or no Sponsor). I will try speaking with some managers here and there to see if any of them are interested in sponsoring this particular pool.

PS : @Vishnu.Reang is not active much for a quite some time, hope everything is okay.

Just checked his post history and he does seem less active recently. I feel that he will be active once again when the latest edition of IPL begins later on this year.

A sponsor would be nice. We can use the extra cash to get more users onboard and to make the event for interesting. I am trying with BTC365 to check if they are interested and if yes then how much they will be able to put into the pot. I will try some other startups too but not promising anything yet. I would suggest everyone to give a try to the contacts you have your own. At the end, we will see who will be suitable. We can have more than one sponsor by the way, can't we?

I doubt you would get one as our community is very small & there are very few who gamble/place bets. Nevertheless, that would be great for us if we can get one & I will be participating regardless of having a sponsor or not.
If someone has a good connection with stake, I guess they would be able to make a deal.

I guess $30 is okay but if anyone has any problem with that fee, they should mention is here. I don't think it's quite high. These days, sig camps are paying high enough than we had back in the days. Therefore, it shouldn’t br an issue.
Have anyone tried to contact with any of the potential sponsor? Royse have some good business here & I believe he must have some good connections here. He can get some sponsor here as he did in the first (?) pool.

Looks like it's the happy time of the year  looking forward to the prediction pool this time. This time with more teams IPL would be much longer. unfortunately, missed the pool towards the end last time but I see the number of participants are going down with each edition, Indian members are going to dormancy or what?

It would be better if Royse or JSRAW would create a poll with the fee option. We don't have a lot of buddies in cricket section sadly, I don’t know why people here don't like cricket betting much. Anyway, I think we at least need 10+ participants to have a nice competition.

I will try to contact with some of my clients but I don’t think anyone would be much interested because of the lack of participants. Last time, I tried to get one but no one was interested.

I count hardly 8-9 guys who might be interested in the pool and 1-2 guys akhjob/vishnu are not even active nowadays.

We have been trying for so long so far not many participants from the cricket community looked interested except 8-10 usual suspects. So i also agree with RapTarX on $30 fees. With that we can collect at least 250 bucks worth of pot.

Thanks @JSRAW for notifying about the IPL pool discussion. Myself too have the same feeling of an entry fee to be between $20-$25 which is a fair amount and could attract a good number of participants.
