Hey everyone,

We have developed a crypto project (fastx.io) that is similar to shapeshift.io + ability to purchase and convert crypto using AUD. (We are based in Australia).
We have multiple exchanges and a bank connected together, system is functioning automatically and I'm responsible for the tech.

Project was pretty successful at the time of a launch when crypto was booming, back in 2018.

However, after Google banned crypto ads, we've started struggling as we haven't done much marketing. (probably the most important thing these days).

My point of post here is to find motivated people that are ready to put effort into making our product better than it is (giving some ideas where to improve) and bringing more people to use it (marketing and connections).

In exchange, we'd be happy to give some equity out. (up to 33%).

What are your thoughts? Open for all ideas.
If interested please PM or just reply on the thread.

Thanks,
Rok

Do this require KYC verification? I havent tried out this yet but if it does require KYC then it would really be hard to attract potential users.

and with this

Do you charge any fees?
No, we charge no fees. FastX makes money on the crypto currency spread. However, for credit card purchases we include 1.75% Braintree fee in our rate.

I probably disagree with marketing, but I won't say it doesn't work and can sometimes be a quicker, more direct route to getting the outreach you need.

Ads are also only as effective as the medium and there are few better than this very forum in terms of actual community that uses crypto.

1. There's one reason the forum ads here are sold on auction every week, you should check it out. Many a crypto service, including the one I promote, finds it useful.

2. Don't knock the value of a well-managed signature campaign either. Long-term benefits if you've got the right advocates.

3. Finally, get your own official thread up and running in the Services section, make the announcement, maybe even open up a discussion thread in exchanges.

I've updated my post with my telegram in it. (@rokyst)

You are right, KYC was a killer once it was introduced for AU.
That's why I'm looking for alternative ideas to get rid of dependencies like Braintree, KYC.

We suck at marketing, that's one the reasons of my post here to find someone who loves it. heh

If you are really concern with marketing then listen to my fellow community member above on what he do suggest. Those are the common things
have been done by new services like exchangers etc.
As long you do have allocated with marketing then theres no problem about exposure. It wont be cheap though but it can give impact or increase awareness with your service.

Speaking of killers, if there's been any proven killer for an exchange, besides KYC, it's been customer support that can't keep up with demand.

You see, end of the day, people who exchange a lot don't really care about fees, especially not when it's only fractionally higher than competitors. But good, reliable customer service that fixes problems quickly, that's a rarity.

So whatever you decide to do marketing wise, be prepared you have the capacity to deal with increased demand (and the inevitable technical support issues that'll come together with that).
